| Viewed Me - Date and Time added Posted: 6/2/2007 9:35:51 AM | Just a quick note to the programmers of POF. The viewed me section is great and I look at it all the time but, it would be very helpful if a date and time could be added to when they viewed you. It is very very difficult to determine if it was 5 mins ago or 2 weeks ago. If that could be a project to enhance this section, I'm sure I am not the only one who would appriciate that. Thanks!

| Viewed Me - Date and Time added Posted: 6/30/2007 5:43:32 PM | I'll add my vote for this.. seeing that someone is online that viewed me 3 months ago and never contacted me is not particularly useful.. :-) | |

| Viewed Me - Date and Time added Posted: 6/30/2007 6:11:22 PM | I think thats a good idea. I think many people would like this idea. To see what time another user checked out your profile would be helpful to many.
I am for this too!! | |

| Viewed Me - Date and Time added Posted: 6/30/2007 7:47:01 PM | The viewed me section is great and I look at it all the time but, it would be very helpful if a date and time could be added to when they viewed you. There is a Balance between Contact Access and Privacy.
At one Time in the distant Past we used to have an Online Now Indicator in the Forums, a small lit Radio Button would turn from red to green.
Because of too many Stalkings and subsequent Complaints, that Feature was eliminated.
Those you have on your Favourites indicate when they first have logged in, but does not indicate whether they are Still Online, those on your Who Loves Me List, the last Time they re-logged back into their 'E-mail'. No 100% exact Time Stamp exists for Users to see.
Many Search Features such as the Basic Search and Advanced Search only go far enough to show Online Now, Online Today, Online This Week and Online Last 30 Days.
I doubt very much the Admin would take it much further than indicate Online Today, as the Top Viewed Me Row already indicates Online Now. |

| Viewed Me - Date and Time added Posted: 7/7/2007 10:07:13 AM | Just because it shows Online Now doesn't mean they look at your profile this week!
Even something as vague as Viewed Today, Viewed Yesterday, Viewed 4 days ago would be handy. I don't see how this could be a bad feature.

| Viewed Me - Date and Time added Posted: 7/29/2007 5:44:28 PM | I agree about including the date and time.
I was razzing a friend of mine for repeatedly viewing my profile because he kept coming up as one of the first "who's viewed" on my list.
In fact, he had only viewed it once, a loooooong time ago but what I was seeing was the "online now who's viewed" list.
Confooozing. | |

| Viewed Me - Date and Time added Posted: 11/12/2007 4:17:04 AM | you must provide a time and date, or just how many times viewed and the date of last one, other sites do this and you know wether a person is very interested or not, its not nice when some one you dont fancy is mailing you and visa versa (spelling?) the site is otherwise perfect good luck for the future, and i hope everyone doesant wait to long for thier happines, thankyou. | |

"wow, she viewed me a precisely 8:00PM. She must be much more interested in me, than the woman who viewed me at 11:45" That logic really doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to me.

Could this indication be added to the Profile View? I'd really rather not add someone to Favorites just to see whether they're still actively using this site. I realize that the "online now" was removed because of stalking, etc, but "online within last 30 days" would tell me whether they're still around. Perhaps the options should be:
logged in within 7 days logged in within 30 days not logged in within 30 days

| Viewed Me - Date and Time added Posted: 11/16/2007 4:49:38 AM | I would agree with some sort of indication of time periods. viewed : today, within week, fortnight, month, longer than month ago - something like that The exact date and time is irrelevant. Besides its what one extra column in the SQL DB (I presume this is SQL), adn a script that does a time check. Granted changing anything takes time, and thats assuming it gets cleared to be done. | |

| Viewed Me - Date and Time added Posted: 12/22/2007 4:55:40 PM | I think that this would be a great asset to the members and I believe it would help to eliminate the wasted mail sent to the old viewers. | |

| Viewed Me - Date and Time added Posted: 12/22/2007 5:09:22 PM | I don't understand why it matters when they viewed you...
This could easily just turn into a way for some to obsess about who looked at them when and "why haven't they written to me yet?". I see it being the start of whole new threads...oh my.
Here's a tip: If they are on your "viewed me" list, they've viewed you at some point in time. If you haven't received an email from them, they viewed you and didn't feel like writing.
And, as pointed out, stalking could be an issue with this feature.
This all sounds a little too obsessive to me.

| Stalk how?
Takes 30 Days or longer to be moved off the Lower Rows, and logging into E-Mail on the top one hardly constitutes stalking. |

| Viewed Me - Date and Time added Posted: 12/22/2007 6:56:32 PM | Ticket: I'm talking about IF admin were to add the feature with the date and time stamp. I'm sorry, I'm confused by this:
logging into E-Mail on the top one hardly constitutes stalking. Don't you think certain people will "keep track" of when someone is online through this feature? Perhaps using it to their advantage...
Maybe I'm wrong, but it does seem possible.
You were the one who brought up the whole stalking idea...
Because of too many Stalkings and subsequent Complaints, that Feature was eliminated.

Okay, How it was explained to me awhile back is the very top row is a list of people that has viewed my profile at some time. Then I have 4 rows of 9 after that.. I am assuming the bottom row is the first to leave since they are the last to have viewed me.. I also noticed somedays, the more peeks my profile gets that these views move quite quickly thru the paces.
So I am going to again assume..The 30 days is maxinuim time allowed..
Bottom line to me people is if you want to know why they keep viewing you contact and ask them.. just my humble take on this

| Viewed Me - Date and Time added Posted: 12/22/2007 10:20:37 PM | Don't you think certain people will "keep track" of when someone is online through this feature? They are of those who previously Viewed you, not People who are viewing you again and again.
Yes, its a Method of keeping track, but then so is your Inbox, My City, Online My State, Women Online, Men Online, etc.
Its just yet another Feature. By far the best Methodology for Tracking is adding someone to their Favourites. Every other Way doesn't even come close.
You were the one who brought up the whole stalking idea... Yup, if the Admin were to show Timestamps.
How it was explained to me awhile back is the very top Row is a list of people that has viewed my profile at some time. Yes, but with another Twist ... those on the Top Row, of all those who have viewed you are the ones who most recently logged into their .
That's all they are ... . E-Mail log-ins of those who have viewed you at some Point in the past. That's all.
So, top row = 2 Things ... log-ons of those who viewed you at some Time in the past. Could have been yesterday they viewed you, or 8 Months ago, they never go away, they keep coming back every Time they log into their . But because your Roster of Viewers increases as Time moves forward, you'll likely see less of the same ones.
Then I have 4 rows of 9 after that.. I am assuming the bottom row is the first to leave since they are the last to have viewed me.. The last 4 Rows have nothing to do with any . These are simply People who have viewed you ... but the last 4 Rows are arranged in a specific Order when they viewed you. Top left 2nd. Row is the most recent Viewer, the bottom Row far right is the oldest Viewer. Older ones than that drop right off the Viewed Me List, but should they log back into their at some Point, you'll again see them "drop in" on your very top Row.
.The 30 days is maximum time allowed.. For the Lower Rows only ... the Top Row has no Time Frame or Expiration Date as they are simply and will be "dropping in" up there until Time immemorial, or whenever they delete their Account.
Bottom line to me people is if you want to know why they keep viewing you And yet another twist ... if anyone is "continuously"viewing you, you would never know, as the Viewed Me Page doesn't show any of that. What you think are People who are viewing you again and again are nothing other than on the very top Row of People who have viewed your Profile at some Point in the Past.

I guess there will always be someone out there who will find a way to "track" someone, no matter what features are or are not added.

| Viewed Me - Date and Time added Posted: 2/25/2008 12:50:45 PM | | I think that would be a great idea for time and date stamp on who viewed me section. It is not an easy website to find things on. That would just make things a little easier. | |
