Toasted english muffin
Spread on the cream cheese
Add avocado with some salt and pepper of course
Add a little salsa maybe some hot sause if the salsa isn't hot enough for you

Posted: 6/5/2007 1:24:58 PM | OP.. I think it's spellt sous-chef as in the Frech sous, meaning 'under'.. but, I digressed immediately didn't I?
OT: now what do you call and 'english' muffin.?.. to me it's a 5" circular, almost flat , piece of bread. I used to make them when I was a baker's assitant. We also added raisins and sugar to that dough and they were then called tea-cakes.. simply sliced with butter on, hot out of the oven, or sliced in half across the diameter and toasted with loads of butter 
but what I love most on muffins, are home made chips (french fries to you lot), butter, and salt and vinegar..

English muffins toasted make perfect toddler/kiddy pizzas.
Put out ingredients and let them have at it.
Put under broiler for a couple minutes, let cool and let them attack.
Most just love sauce and cheese. | |

Posted: 8/16/2009 1:41:24 PM | Cream Cheese is a good one. In fact I just got some today for my cinnamon raisin muffins. So delicious. But my absolute favorite is some butter, apricot jam and extra sharp cheddar cheese.

Posted: 8/17/2009 4:56:40 AM | something very unhealthy...toasted muffin, butter, thick sliced salami, fried egg with the yellow spilling out when you bite into it, chedder cheese with fresh basil ontop of a highly peppered red tomato!
and I eat it about once every few years....it takes that long for my body to get over the rush! | |

hi.. mashed or sliced avocado with sea salt or honey... almond butter with honey....organic butter with an all fruit jam... yum Why waste the healthy organic sugar-free stuff on an english muffin? Wheat-based, over-processed, HFCS-laden chemically-preserved simple-carb, nasty stuff. | |

Posted: 8/19/2009 1:35:50 PM | I think English Muffin Pizza is great! I use them for a quick, easy, and cheap lunch sometimes. I'll be using them a lot more now that I'm starting classes again on Monday.
I toast the muffin and let it cool on the counter while I'm getting stuff together. I do this so it doesn't sweat and get mushy when I wrap it up in plastic wrap. I mix a bit of pesto and pizza sauce and put it in a tiny container. I pack standard mozzarella cheese, 4 turkey pepperoni slices, chopped green peppers, and add a few red pepper flakes to the green peppers. When I'm at lunch, I just put everything on the muffin and microwave it.
