Talking on the phone is much better than chatting online. I believe it could lead to love for some women but not men. | |

leather i guess it is possible, some people claim to have had it happen to them and are now happily together etc etc blah blah blah
one thing that you need to remember though is that online no matter how well you know your 'significant other'.... you still dont know what its like to be around all there annoying little habits, because you haven't spent the time with them...
one of the beautiful things about love is that you dont look at those things as faults, you look at them as quirks, but if you dont know what they are then you're missing out...
you might fall in love with someone online but then realize after spending some real time with them that you can't stand to be around them for more than 15 minutes....... | |

Its easy to fal in LUST with soemone over the net..or someones vioce. You may fallim love with the sound of a sexy vioce miles away..but what happens when he or she comes over at last??? and they pick thieer teeth..or snore or talk druing movies or is rude or ugly as a dirty boot?? all of the fun you had chatting is ruined. | |

I think that meeting and falling in love with someone that you have no physical contact with, is the best thing, because you fall in love with the "person" and not the physical aspects of the person. I don't know, I could be deluted with the fact it worked for me, but just remember you get out of it what you put into it. | |

Not all the fingers of ur palm are same , there r exceptions . Be honest 2 ur heart , someone is there . Physical or digital doesnt matters , wat matters is the heart u have . Back in school and outside of school. I wanted to date. They didn't want to date me.
Last time I tried asking somebody at work out was around 1999. I almost got fired that time. I was accused of sexual harrasment. I learned my lesson about work and dating.

Posted: 8/1/2004 12:07:18 PM | I met my last girlfriend off of an online dating site. We exchanged emails and chatting back and forths until we decided to exchange phone numbers and I called her. I think I had called her once...talked for about three hours and finally decided that I wanted to meet her. The only picture I had to go by was a "gag" picture she had sent to her daddy's email...she was wearing a wig and had one of those feathered boas(is that right??) around her neck. With her "disguise" in the picture, I really couldn't tell what she looked like. But, I was willing to meet her just because I enjoyed chatting with her and all the things she talked about in describing herself..I really liked..of course that isn't to say I had fell in love with her before meeting her. However, the internet certainly helped me to find out as much as I could about her and vice versa..so when we did meet, there wasn't as much nervousness. Well..let me tell you..when I first layed my eyes on her..I was like WOW! I was instantly attracted to her....it didn't take us to long to realize that we were made for each other..at least that is the feeling we had back then. We're not together right now...I do wish we were however.
But I will say this..i think the internet is just as good of a place as any to find your future soul mate or at least present love. I feel it has worked for me once it can work again. I do try more traditional ways of finding dates..however where I live..the majority in my dating age are mostly taken. This is a marriage town I live in. Most are marred by 22...and if you're my age (29)..and still single..you had better move to a higher populated area with more singles..because you're not going to find it here...that is what I am planning to do after college.
