Why does that always come up? I honestly think that sex is highly overrated! Not that I donot enjoy it, but lets be honest here... there is more to life.
I can honestly say that I have only been with one person. I was 19 the first time, and 21 the last time. So yea, it has been over four years. I am not proud nor ashamed, it is what it is. And is my preferrence to be this way.
Isn't there anyone out there who thinks sex should be "special" and that it is better when it is so?
i think the way that we view sex as a culture today is just sick and de-moral-ised.

Personally, I would qualify this: casual sex is highly overrated. It doesn't come close to the intimate act of making love to someone you love, trust, and want to give pleasure to.
Isn't there anyone out there who thinks sex should be "special" and that it is better when it is so?
I definitely think that it's better and more special in the context of a loving, committed relationship. Anything less, or more casual, is upleasant to me, so I don't do it.

Or, to look at it another way, there are so many lonely, desperate people in this culture, for whatever reasons, that they settle for less. Not everyone can find that one great romance; some will never find it in their entire lives. Many people don't want to deprive themselves of sex entirely, so they resort to the more casual thing. | |

Even in this very conservative culture where I live, you find a huge segment of the population that is willing to dunk their willy or let their legs fall open within minutes of meeting someone new. It's sad, it's disappointing. Diseases are spreading rapidly, kids have no moral role models, people aren't bonding in their relationships...
My life is a lot less complicated now that I'm relationship-free and I'm going to stay celibate for a long time by choice. If I ever have sex again, it will be because I'm in love. | |

I agree it should be special....I can't even imagine ever having sex with someone I don't deeply care about. I've only slept with one person as well, my boyfriend of 9 months now.
I don't see the point in sleeping with someone you don't care about just to get off...if I wanted to get off and was horny, I can take care of myself. Don't need to spread my legs for someone and risk std's, pregnancy...etc.
It is overrated....but underrated in the way that many don't see what the big deal is, and just sleep with who ever is willing.  Big big turn off. | |

Its not special....why should it be? An average male gets a boner three times a day(proven fact) so why sit with a pole in your pants when you can put it to good use!

If sex is so safe now, why do at least 20% of Americans have genital herpes? Why do 20 million have HPV? Why do condoms, which don't protect against those things anyway, still have such a high failure rate?

I have been approached as soon as a second date. (there is no 3rd date with them).
It takes time to get to know a person and share that.

I read these things and constantly smirk, crack up and mock what I read. Its like men and women today think Sex is happiness.
My son is 20 now, he will be 21 in about 10 more days in fact. He was saving himself for Marriage until he went to Iraq to fight in the war. Then decided he just had to have sex before marriage with a sweet little thing he "Thought" he loved.
They are now apart and he is once more searching, but once more saving himself for the right woman.
You listen to so many women complaining about the Players. They don't want men using them for Sex. Either that or they are telling Lies. So your on the right track. Like I support my son when I say, Hold out for love. It has to exist, and you young people have time to find it.
Hopefully those Morons that wants to put a thousand notches on their gun before it rots and falls off won't ruin it totally for the nice guys who are seeking the real thing in life.
So just as I wish the best of luck for my son, I will also wish you the best in the search of love. Treat them with respect and hopefully the right woman will land in your lap. | |

And you use a dental dam everytime you perform oral sex on a female?
Do you make sure your partners have had an STD test and come out clean at least every six months?
