| How do people relax after stressful or busy week? Posted: 6/8/2007 7:38:36 AM | Just wondering what do people do to relax after busy week or stressful week?
I like to kick back with my favourite drink or food and listen to some music.
Or have nice bubble bath with candles burning and relaxing music in the background, then have a relaxing massage to finish off.
Go to bed in a really relaxed stated and fall asleep instantly.
What other ways do people relax after busy or stressful week?
Who knows might give myself and other people new ideas to try different relaxing activities.

Very relaxing and it really lets your mind wander and forget about all the hectic, stressful week.

I used to make sure they lived in my boot because you never know when you may wish to drop a line too.

He goes through mommy withdrawls ... lol He is funny and always can put me in a great mood before I go to sleep. Sometimes I get on the 'puter for a while and have a drink or some chow. And I am one of those people that hum the whole time I am on the 'puter so it kinda relaxes me. Ok I am relaxed now time to go to bed.

| How do people relax after stressful or busy week? Posted: 6/8/2007 8:33:23 AM | Actually, the weekend is my busiest time. I work friday afternoons, then go home and prepare for my community radio show which airs until 6am saturdays. I have band rehearsals on both days and catch up with friends saturday nights with a dvd and crap wine (you know the type, three weeks ago was a very good year).

Sometimes I go next door for a coffee afterward and other times I may head out for a drink with friends or just go home to a bath and a movie. Saturdays is usually spent down the road at the dog beach with my dog and foster dogs in tow or at my parent's property in the vineyards, about 40 minutes drive away. Sundays is a late brekky on my balcony with pooches in company and nice strong brewed coffee. Then the housework starts.......

| How do people relax after stressful or busy week? Posted: 6/8/2007 8:22:02 PM | | There's not a whole lot of difference for me between weekdays and weekend days, cos I fit the majority of my paid work around other life stuff I have to do, and every day starts and ends with farm chores. Sometimes I honestly have no idea what day it actually is. The only specific days I have to be conscious of, and keep normal hours for, are the ones when I have a class scheduled, maybe 2 or 3 consecutive days here and there. Those days are stressful cos of fitting in all the farm responsibilities in a small window of daylight time before and after work, but the scheduling varies so much that there is no 'weekly' pattern of any sort. So there is no week end as such, and I guess I do something to relax every day (a long bath, taking dogs to the beach/park, simple stuff like that) mixed in with what else I have to do. It suits me just fine! | |

(dolphins can be quite nasty though .... all they do is laugh) nite ... friends place, few sherbies and listen to the bull sharks maruading up and down the canal .... ah bliss!!!

The ones that sleep in for hours, the ones that drink too much and think they can sing and tell jokes, the thrillseeking ones that ride bikes, scuba dive, sky dive, or walk blindfolded around the Woolies carpark, the ones that drive for hours to get their favourite ice cream or burger
You all know you keep them stashed away somewhere...just let them out sometimes, they're part of who you are...sometimes they're the best part!

| How do people relax after stressful or busy week? Posted: 6/10/2007 5:16:48 AM | Stress? How about unbridled, raging anger! My neighbour's cat peed down my air vents...again! Gotta get that flamin' foul-mannered feline once and for all:
1. Sting it with my air rifle? No, no pleasure in that. 2. Borrow the rotty from the gay publican for a night and let him corner the cat in the garage? Maybe...except the publican might consider it a come-on... 3. Trap the cat in a possum trap and pee on it from a safe distance. Sounds like a plan.
