Yes, people can be born as the wrong gender. It is rare. From what I understand men and woman with this condition have known since they were very, very young.
There are transgendered people. (Appearing as, wishing to be considered as, or having undergone surgery to become a member the opposite sex.)

Your sex can be reasigned if that is what you want. There are hormones to take that will feminize your looks. I believe you have to live as a woman for at least a year before they consider doing the operation that will complete the transformation. | |
