Posted: 6/9/2007 7:54:51 PM | Don't you hate skeets? Hanging out by the Village or at the Avalon. Constantly stealing, getting into fights, being obnoxious. I can't get the bus without having to sit beside at least one of these knobs, who talk on their cell phones about how "buddy up at da Irving sells me cigerettes even doe I'm under age bah". I mean, don't these people have any dignity at all? Don't they want to accomplish anything else in life other than getting drunk, stealing stuff from the mall, getting in fights and eventually getting hooked on Oxy and dying?
What do you think of skeets? I think they should be sent to an island so as to not infect the rest of civilization. | |

Posted: 6/10/2007 3:16:05 AM | This is where ones' opinion comes in I guess  I know what you mean but ya don't have to call em "skeets" do ya I can understand what you mean, seems like hanging out at the mall is there home...and yes some of em will probably get theirselves into trouble...and maybe they won't! But sending them to an island...go on by...no need fer dat...maybe all they need is some TLC and understanding that perhaps they're lacking from elsewhere...
Alot of it has to do with the up bringing...for example a "child" going around with a cell phone....and I mean ten...eleven...even nine years of age......not neceassary...or at least that's my opinion! I guess we got to take the good with the bad and the bad with the good...((((or even purchase some ears plugs so you can drown em out))))

If the government funded a huge "Take kids away from skeet mothers" campaign we could wipe out the next generation of skeets just like that. Give them good homes where the parents actually know how to raise kids, give them discipline yet love. The government would probably save alot more money in the long run on jails, police, graffiti cleaning, among other things.
Unfortunately unless the parent actually commits a crime theres nothing anyone can do. Thats not to say they don't commit them everyday. I've seen stupid mom's slap their kids on the bus, haul them away by the arm in the mall, nearly taking the arm clean off it seems. But these incidents are too minor to report.
Its pretty sad, but these kids are the skeets of tomorrow. And their kids will live equally pointless, violent, unfulfulling lives. | |

Too minor to report.Maybe for you De Bon Aire.I would tell the person off in a heart beat ,and yes report them as well.NO child deserve's to be slapped,pulled,tugged etc....
As for it being the parents fault.Maybe up to a certain point that is true,but the parents can't be with their kids 24/7.Most families now have to have two working parents just to get by.Which means less time for the kids.Is it right No but what can they do everyone has to eat,bills have to be paid.It's sad that the kids their working their butts off for are turning to drug's,drinking,fighting etc....Because they are lacking a home life.
As for taking them from their parents I am sure some of them should be,but certainly not all.Try giving then some TLC.Bet we would all be surprized at the results.
PS.I hate the word stupid,if you tell kids there stupid.It won't take long before they start to believe it.Try saying their silly.Oh anther word I hate as well is shut up.Just ask them to be quiet please.They will get the message.
My pet peeve for the day lol.

As for slapping. tugging etc....no need of it...all it's teaching the child is it is ok to do so! TLC is alot of what some of em need....sad that they dont get it but true......teach them what you would like to see them do as they get older......stupid...idiot...so on......that pisses me off to when someone calls a youngin that...Oh well...there are all kinds...

What some IS stays with them for life, but how they ACT is temporary. So saying a kid IS anything can shape the way they see themselves for years to come, possibily their whole lives.

Posted: 6/12/2007 2:24:54 PM | Just a clarification for the older folks.. skeets nowadays refers to kids from the Goulds... kids in the malls are called "mall rats". I dealt with 'em for 3 years when I worked at wal-mart as the cart boy lol
Fun times though.. one got pissy one night with me and I flipped and made him cry lol... my moment of cruelty i guess :P | |

I grew up witha good spanking when I needed one and it never hurt me now a days you cant say anything to them without having the GOV'T say ur a bad parent. IF your workign and a single mom your not giving them the time they needs with u so it is neglect. IF your a at home mom on welfare the system looks down on you...as for the way they are going to turn out.. We have great wonderful programs out there like CYN wonderful group really they have basically told my daughter if she didnt like the rules she could move out they gave her welfare she has hardly attended school at all since April I still get the phone calls every day she misses and then WHOO HOOO Danny WIlliams came up with teh 1000 for having a kid in 2008 guess what now we have a newly turned 16 year old high school drop out that is pregnant her fat assed boyfriend wont work so now we have a new generation of Income support reciepients now if u need it I dont mind but there is no cause of her being removed cause she didnt like the idea she couldnt sleep with the fat ass in my home and he had to leave at night .... Imagine that now she is a mall rat sniffing OXYS , pregnant and nothing I can do about it cause society said so... my rant is now done whew thanks I feel better | |
