(First, I did try to locate and bump my thread from about 6 months back, in which I told the world that I'd proposed to Ricky, and though he tried to gag me to keep me from ruining his fun, he did say yes---but that thread is apparently a goner! Dang that man for taking so long to give me my ring and do it "his way"!)
OKOK, last night, in the middle of the steak house on a Saturday night in the South, lol, in front of my parents and our kiddies, Ricky got down on his knee and asked the FG to marry him! He then put that killer ring on my finger, the server almost fainted, (and me, too---I already told him the FG doesn't do publicity shots, dang it!) I managed to say "yesyes!", and now we're getting hitched all proper like! The hottie Italiano Stallion is mine, ALL mine!
Thanks to all you fish people that welcomed me into the pond and put up with me throughout all the dating fiascos I encountered with those freaky deaky bozos---and dave, too---without your noticing the (immediately deleted) thread he started for me last summer trying to get my attention---I may have never come to this place in my life.
PS: I'm a lil busy right now...can someone make sure Mr. Keith Urban shows up at our "to do" to sing to me? I fear he won't take the news kindly, but he's a good sport! (No Nicole, though!)  | |

I've never had the chance to talk with you, but have read many of your posts and found them insightful as well as funny! You never flamed and always had kind words for all! This place is a hoot and though I'm not around as much as I used to be, I still have to get my fix over my morning coffee. I can't imagine not reading you people, and, well, this place is pretty darn special to me.;)

(Ricky is threatening me with recreating his profile so he can come in here and tell you peeps about how I almost screwed up his proposal, lol. Now I'm gonna have to monitor my own dang thread---what a lil brat he is!)
