| Two Bodies....
Posted: 6/20/2007 4:56:51 PM | Ok so I dabble in poetry every now and then. I'm not very good, but this came to me about 3a.m. had to get up and write it so I could sleep! LOL Rewrote it once and finally got to sleep. Well here it goes. Let me know if it's ok. Thanks  mthr
Two bodies so far apart....
So why does it take just a single thought,
of your smile to bring a blush to my cheeks,
of how the feel of your hand in mine makes me tingle all over,
of hearing my name cross your lips makes my heart skip a beat,
of how your arms feel around me so strong and secure.
And it's amazing that the single little thought
can easily bring a smile to my face,
my knees a little shakey,
my heart beat a little faster,
my breath a little heavier.
And my mind hopes for the time
when those two bodies can be close once more.
To share the smiles,
let our hearts beat together,
our arms around each other
as our breaths become one.
Two bodies so close together.
