Posted: 5/3/2005 3:17:21 AM | Someone tells me that the key to winning over a woman, even though women might deny it, is that after you get her number, wait about a WEEK to call her.
Now I know that some of you heard this "Waiting period" is the key to winning someone over...but does it really apply or does it reek of "Game playing"
Though I see alot of personal ads that say, "Tired of playing games", it doesn't mean she's not going to play games with you, she's just "Tired of it" lol

just call when you feel like calling. If anything shell be flattered that you called soon, and insulted if you wait too long. Just play it by ear...or heart...whichever is the stronger of the two. | |

I'm not sitting on a shelf waiting for someone to decide whether he wants to call me or not. Life is too short for BS. If you are interested SHOW IT and don't be sitting on your hands wasting time. Because I can pretty much guarantee you while you are waiting for some silly time line some other person who knows what they want will have picked up the phone. This goes for both sexes. | |

That's the way I see it. I would not wait a week before calling someone I'm interested in. I may call them 1 or 2 days from when they give me their number, but anything past that and I'm going to email her and let her know.
Doesn't have to be a long conversation either. Sometimes a simple "Hello, just called to see how you're doing" is really all that's needed. :) | |

Posted: 7/22/2005 9:30:12 AM | The same day or next day is too eager for the initial first call but 3 days is good. One week is too long unless you tell the person your going to be busy and can't call until a certain day.
The perfect scenario (for me) after the first date mind you, is if he says I'll call you on (fill in the blank day) and we can make plans for our next date. Then you know he likes you. That may be to brazen for some but again that is what I prefer. I have also had on the extreme end of things a guy call after 3 weeks....way too long. Then I knew he was trying to seem like he didn't care or in fact he didn't. Either way, just call her (don't leave a message) or next time if it's such a dilemma give her your number and she can call you and you don't have to worry about it. | |
