I cannot log out out of mail /profile. Every time I click log out it goes to another page full of members profile listings.I click log out again and I am still logged in.
I can log in and out of the forums ok.
I have closed out of POF done all the deleting of files ,caches etc and come back on to POF and I am still logged in to mail/profile.
Have done all that and still cannot log out out of mail/profile,now it is just getting stranger as I am logged into mail and then when i go to reply to mail I have to log in again but then to read incoming mail I am already signed in and to reply again I have to sign in although I am already signed, in as I cannot sign out lol.
I know that I can appear logged in for 15 mins after I log out but believe me what is happening today is not the norm!
Have deleted all files over and over again. Have run Spy ware Have closed down from ISP.
Have restarted ISP and gone on POF and problem still there!
I switched to using a load balancer, so you are being bounced around between 2 machines.. Ie logged in at 2 of them or none of them or one and not the other. THat shouldn't happen.
I can now log in and out but something still not right.

I just recently went to new mail, signed in of course and when I clicked on my new mail, the actual message I mean, I got the sign-in screen again. I was able to read and write back after that, also clicked on several of the other options but never saw the sign-in screen after that.

When I signed in this morning clicked on view profile ,get on it ok the last 10 people to check their inbox within 50 miles of me are women? I have not changed or edited my profile recently and I am looking for a man as it clearly states on my profile. Then to get back into mail etc I have to sign in again.
I cannot send a reply to my mail. I log in and I can read the mail. I write a reply and when I go to send it, it tells me to save what I wrote and log back in. I log back in and fill it all out again and try to send it and it flips me right out and I have to log back in again. What's happening and how can I send anyone a reply?

That sounds like your screen may have timed out. I'm not 100% sure, but I think you've got 15 minutes before it times out, maybe someone knows the exact time frame? You can copy and paste your message, that way it's done and sent in a matter of seconds.

Admin....Im also having the same problem as above...I have to log in all the time when ever I click on any of the features that are mentioned above...
I think there might be a problem with the sites servers as my PC is running fine.
Yesterday, I had difficulty getting into the forums but absolutely no problems getting into POF dating site. Everytime I tried to get into the forums after several minutes the computer would let me know that it couldn't establish a connection.
I think this was temporary though because I'm no longer having problems...
Just went into new mail, message opened with no problem but after hitting reply the sign-in screen showed up. I signed in again and the reply screen to 'that' mail was there. It sent without problem.
Opened second mail, reply, write, send, no problem.
Went through all the tabs and got the sign-in screen after clicking the viewed me tab. I clicked my back button and was back in new mail. Clicked other tabs and all but the viewed me worked. Signed in again and had the viewed me screen open. Clicked on all tabs again and all worked.
Today I have restored my pc Run virus scan Run spyware scan Deleted internet files, cookies and caches Been on the phone to my ISP provider who assured me everything was/is fine with my pc after going over all that could possibly be wrong.

Now I have clicked log out but I can click onto my profile so click back click log out again click inbox and get on it ok ,although I have clicked log out.
I have had no problems at all ,logging on and off from any of the forums,just mail/profile
Usually when I log into forums it remains logged in for days (which is great for me as a constant poster) unless of course I close my browser. Only just very recently I'm finding that when I go to reply to a post or just simply refresh page I 'm asked to log back in??
I don't seem to be havin any trouble with the mail/profile login side of things though if that helps....?
I am able to log in, check mail and respond. But when I hit the send button it makes me log in over and over and over. What is the problem? I have never had an issue with this site, lol
I'm having same problem so are loads of others i know. Does what the help says but nothing same still. its been playing up like this for me for days now some times it worked now it dont at all
Yep, same story here. It started yesterday when trying to send a message. It kept showing my message on the right side of the screen as when it times out. I had to log back on over and over again. After several tries I was able to send the message. Then I got logged off when trying to view other profiles. I've done all that has been suggested from other posts, but still have the same problem. And today it is still happening.
What is so irritating is being able to read a message, and then if the person who sent it sees you read it but didn't reply, they make think you are not interested, and I finally find one I would like to know better and THIS happens..darn
I think it's a hardware upgrade (a necessity - the place does grow like weeds) glitch, ...so patience please. Reporting problems is helpful, very helpful, the angst over them is understood, but doesn't help solve the problem.

you know, they should be aware that any number of a multitude of things could happen just after they've read an email
-children can either puke, eat something not meant to be eaten, put books in toasters, turn blue, etc.. -pets could be heaving tasty furballs on expensive carpeting, scratching the shit out of your couch arm, etc... -spouse could have come unexpectedly -fire, hurricane, tornados, flooding ... -long arm of the law knocking on door -they've spotted the repo man in the driveway -bodily functions, wanted or unwanted -admin tinkering with site - bless his cotton socks

perhaps they read everything at once and then devote their concentration on the best for last !
