Join fellow PoF people for a night of karaoke at O'Brien's! Dog & Pony Sound has a huge catalogue that you can view online - and you can even print out song slips beforehand.
Sing or don't sing, it's your choice, but come along and meet some new people. Laugh, dance  , sing, and applaud  . Hoist a beverage or two  , eat  , and have loads of fun. The food is great - and the serving size makes it perfect for sharing with your favorite fishie.
Remember, sometimes you applaud because you appreciate the perfomance, and sometimes you applaud because you're glad it's over!
For those of you who haven't been to O'Brien's lately, the washrooms have been renovated, but they're still downstairs.
O'Brien's is on Heron near Bank, Karaoke starts at 9:30 pm to 1:30 am, Saturday, July 14, 2007. Some tables will be reserved for PoF starting at 9 pm (or earlier if some want to have dinner before karaoke).
The address is 1145 Heron Rd., just west of Bank St. Free parking in the lot - and on-street parking one block away.

so i am looking forward to seeing you there and anyone else who signs up...

You can always ask the KJ to change the balance between your vocals and the music, too. I'm not sure if the Dog or the Hound is hosting that night, but rest assured that if you ask, they'd be pleased to sing backup.

I might be able to handle Sonny and Cher, though, they're TV memories from my teen years. I can leave my hair down, but I'll never be that skinny. Nor will you ever be that short.

We're up to 23 people attending - that's wonderful!
I have a family dinner/BBQ to attend beforehand, so I might be a bit later than usual, but I will be there. LadyKimberj will welcome you until I arrive (although, knowing what my family gatherings are often like, I may be there very early).
Don't forget to sign up for the coffee chat on Sunday, July 8th. Gobrait just created a new party thread for it. Coffee chats are a great way to meet lots of people in a casual, fun setting.
