| What does the status "Other Relationship" mean?
Posted: 6/25/2007 7:57:13 PM | I am asking men what this exactly means you are seeking due to have come across a few that have this and I thought it meant they were married and seeking something on the side however I have noticed some who have this on there profile but have single or divorced.
So can someone tell me to clear this up to me as what it represents ? | |

I believe when a woman/man wants a "other relationship", they have a boyfriend/girlfriend on the side.

And putting Single doesn't mean they don't have an SO...they could very well be in committed relationships (ie. living with somebody) ...they just are not married.
I have also been approached by some who were looking for 'Other Relationship' and they were definitely looking for something a little on the kinky side; had weird fetishes!! I don't even answer any emails if 'Other' is what they are looking for! | |

I too am confused by it when they say they are single, divorced or widowed. Sometimes I wonder if it could be 'gay' but I didn't think so. So we still don't really know what it means do we. Guess my best advice to myself is to give it a miss. i.e. when in doubt, don't! | |

because I didn't have a clue what I wanted to fish for. ( first time fishing on -line )
So I filled it out half hazzardly, like I do when filling out marketing forms. When I am undecided, don't know, or don't want to tell.
......oops. ...well that explains alot of the emails I got........!!!

I talk/e-mail my friends. My friends are activity partners.
I date my friends, I have intimate encounters with my friends, not my enemies.
They don't have a slave/master category.

Posted: 7/22/2007 6:32:34 AM | Funny you should post this. I recently did a personal survey on the most recent newbies in my area.
Other Relationship came up as 5 guy's seeking one. One of the guy's was married, another Living Together.......4 out of the 5 were seeking sexual no ties relationships.
I think they use 'Other relationship' in lieu of 'Intimate encounter', because some people use the mail restrictions that prevent other users contacting them, if they have contacted other's looking for sex.
IMO it has the same meaning as 'Intimate Encounter' only candy coated. | |

Given the nature of the site, I've never really understood why anybody would choose that to describe what they're looking for. I mean, the site also offers you the option to list "Friends/talk & e-mail", "Dating/Relationship etc.," , and "Intimate Encounter". That pretty much covers it I would think.
I avoid those profiles myself because whatever it is they want, I'm willing to bet that I'm either not interested because it's unethical, or I'm not interested because I don't think sex should involve live animals , a flight suit, and a tub of baked beans. | |

i do know what i "do not" want
no intiment incounters
not into dirty e-mail or chat
dont do flings, if im someones freind, it is because they want me as a whole person not for "benefits"
my life is to hectic right now for long term,so taking the women on here's feelings into account, would not want to mislead and end up hurting someone.
so what else does one put???
and for the most part i come on here for the forums, some of the treads on here, you poeple just kill me, lol | |
