| A mate of mine from another forum in the News Of The World Posted: 7/6/2007 3:31:06 AM | Recently a mate of mine from another forum got into the News of The World. See this: http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/bb/videos.shtml I know him on another forum as AFC AdamLondon. It is interesting when you see people you know get into the papers. This was a really big story as well.
Usually when people or their friends get into the papers it is for the wrong reasons like because they have been involved in a crime or a road accident. So its nice to see when someone you know gets into the papers for someone they have achieved.

The only reference to an Adam on there was a link to a youtube video that no longer exists. Help me out please, I really want to write something great on yer thread to make ye feel ye have achieved something too.
I do agree that it does make a nice change when your friends and relatives hit the headlines for doing something that isn't criminal for a change, even if it is a crime to appear on big brother really.

| A mate of mine from another forum in the News Of The World Posted: 7/6/2007 5:17:59 AM | Is it good 'netiquette' or prudent to broadcast around the net folks usernames or website handles/identities whether they are a POF member or not??
Could be construed as an invasion or intrusion on AFCAdams privacy. Or an invitation for every loony on the planet to try and wind up the guy
If you pick up on that point OP

| A mate of mine from another forum in the News Of The World Posted: 7/6/2007 6:47:14 AM | Yes, I rather think if I were your "friend" you woulds soon become an ex-friend for blarting out info about this guy to people who hardly know him. Nobody ever comes out smelling of roses after the NOW has been on your heels.
I do not call people friends unless I have met them and engaged in proper conversation and it rather leads me to think you need to get out more.

| A mate of mine from another forum in the News Of The World Posted: 7/6/2007 7:26:04 AM | Oh I see your 'friend' did something 'good' did he!!?? Met a BB girl at a club and used his psychology degree and dating school tactics to bed her and then told all the gory details to News of the World for a nice bit of cash..
Well at least the girls wont be falling for that now they have read what a scheming, smarmy ugly person he really is.. and you want to be like him OP?

| A mate of mine from another forum in the News Of The World Posted: 7/6/2007 7:34:55 AM | The 'other forum' in question does seem a tad...errr...'odd' and might raise an eyelash or two amongst the pof ladies.
a 'mate' or a thinly veiled attempt at advertising/promo nonsense??
I would be gutted if any 'mate' of mine blurted out my username on the Mancunian Slapheads "Babepuller" Forum
Edit..No 9: I regard it as bad form to broadcast other folks usernames around the net.

I would be gutted if any 'mate' of mine blurted out my username on the Mancunian Slapheads "Babepuller" Forum Excuse me msg 8 for stating the extreme obvious but, ye happen to be posting on a forum that gets a lot of hits, many strangers can view yer profile on here and read yer posts and ye are slating the OP for mentioning the name of a 'friend' on this site because it is an invasion of his privacy, that's bollix.
Although I think yer right this is a blatant as opposed to thinly veiled attempt at advertising, I only wish I could find this bloomin' forum to have a look for meself.
