Was that all he said? No warning he was unhappy? No spat? Just poof? Well, he did at least say something before he disappeared but I’m of the opinion that all things can be worked out. Even as friends.

At least you had more than one date/meeting with him. I haven't even gotten that far with a man since the death of my husband. I meet a man and then never hear from him again. I thought on all occasions (about six different men/meetings) that we got along just fine and have no clue as to what the problem might have been. You and I are of similar age and size. | Oh so sorry Lady!
Posted: 8/16/2007 12:20:00 AM | I just read your post and had to say how sorry I am. I was in the same boat a month ago. Met this great guy, I THOUGHT, and he WOWED me too! Tall, handsome with a very hairy chest. We were great together till he overdrank at a party he took me to and I didn't like how he acted. We had an argument and he was out of my life since then.
I find myself comparing every man I come in contact with to him and no one seems to measure up IF i leave the drinking aside.
I can't believe that what i thought would be the rest of my life is done and over. It's hard to keep trying after you feel you found a good one but I'm sure more good ones are out there.
