| | Recieving giftsPage 1 of 1 | | I receieved an email from a person who lives 1300 miles away from me in "florida canada" if there is such a place, and the email says "gift attached", do I dare open it? or will i get a virus? it worries me because why would someone wiht her profile, who lives so far away, write to an old man like myself? | |

| Recieving gifts Posted: 7/22/2007 1:16:37 PM | If you open the email it will have one of the gifts you see on the top of your message when you are sending mail, attached. It is completely harmless. I have received them numurous times and I assure you there is no virus attached.
Perhaps she was very taken with you and wanted to send a nice sentiment.

|
| Recieving gifts Posted: 9/2/2007 4:57:28 AM | It will look like this:

yayawhatever has used some points and bought you this gift!!!.
That will be displayed at the top of the email and the subject will indicate (Contains Gift).
|
| Recieving gifts Posted: 9/3/2007 1:50:15 AM | | The email said (contains gift). I believe that I replied to the email. It was after I replied to the email (from I nice gentleman that I had begun correspond with) when I went back and opened the email again that (contains gift) did nothing at all. Should I have clicked on the gift first and then respond to email? Thanks for any help. | |
|
| Recieving gifts Posted: 9/3/2007 1:53:40 AM | How odd. It should have appeared above the body of the email.
Perhaps click View All Correspondence and scan through the other messages to see if its there.

Only the gifts purchased with cash show up on your profile. Gifts purchased with points only show up in the email they were sent with.
