| MAIL time-out [Closed/Redundant]
Posted: 7/23/2007 6:10:45 PM | | I am not a fast typer plus trying to think of what to say the mail logs me off and can not send mail so is there a way to make the time longer. I dont know if I am the only person that has this problems. | |

Sometimes it is maintained by the servers and not the webpages to a default time of about 20 minutes.
You have a way to fix it on your own - in any site/forum you might visit.
The way to avoid this is to write out your text... check it for errors
Then select the entire thing by highlighting it with left click and scrolling/dragging until it's all highlighted.
Then hold CTRL and tap the letter C (for copy).
Open up notepad or some other document formatting program.
Then hold CTRL and tap the letter V (for paste).
Now you have a copy of what you wrote and if it asks you to login again - you just select it all , copy , paste into the website form this time and post away.

Posted: 7/23/2007 8:26:58 PM | | Actually you really do not even have to put it into a notepad. Just copy the entire text before you hit send. If you have timed out, re-log back on, open a reply box and hit paste and it will paste it into the message. Hit send and your email is sent. | |

Posted: 7/24/2007 4:39:47 AM | The time-out on POF is 15 minutes. Great advice listed above. If you forget and this happens after typing a long email, sometimes hitting the <-- Backspace will give you a cached page and you can copy the contents of the message so that you can login, paste and send.
