Any one want to join me on a trip to Sturgis? I am thinking of heading out on aug.3 about 4pm and camping at Coots that night then into the USA in the am. but that is not set in stone as of yet. I will be leaving from Red Deer, and hook-up points can be set up along the way.. if you would like to go, then sing out..

Good Luck Cola

I was on my way a couple years ago. Made it as far as Lethbridge, ran into a couple heading there. Had dinner with them, got to chatting. They told me that there was suppose to be million bikes showing up.

After that dinner I accidently made a wrong turn. (Hee Hee) And ended up spending two weeks in B.C. Way to many people for my liking.

But hope you have a blast, and would love to see some pics, and hear some stories when you return.

Old Cola
would love to go, but this job overseas keeps dragging on and on, not sure if I will ever get back now (LOL)

however, if you are looking for someone to tag along with, you could always talk to the guys at House of Thunder in Camrose
I am pretty certain taht a good sized group rolls out of there everyyear, Steve built/rebuilt his bike last year just for the trip.
anyway, that might help
Have a Great Trip
oh, and just remembered a guy from WCT that told me there is also a group from Harley RD that goes as well.
might not be your brand, but it is someone to ride along with

p.s. my buddy from Sask that went the last couple of years stayed in the campground behind the Brokem Spoke - loud but close to everything (I think that info is correct as I was not there - so trying to remember the right campground)

I was thinking of packing up the puppy and clubs and taking off for the long weekend ... can't say I can go with you Cola ... 'cause I don't have a bike, but yeah I just might take off in that direction in my "bug" and hang out at a few driving ranges and rest stops along the way ... perhaps, I will see you on the road ...
