Posted: 7/25/2007 7:06:47 PM | If your girl had to have braces on her upper teeth would you prefer she had the ones behind her teeth (that you can't see but might not be that flash in umm, the filatio dept) or the ones on the front that you can see but that won’t 'effect' anything?
I.e. would guys prefer not to see them and maybe go without or keep them on the font (clear brackets but with a wire)
Even if you wern't bothered about that. Would you be bothered about the look of braces on the front of teeth or would you prefer you couldn't see them? | |

it conjures up notions of youth and virginity and willingness, to me at least. because they tend to be overlooked, they would be eager to please and less likely to be tarnished by being with other guys. also, if she's hot with braces, she can't really look worse without them, plus her teeth will be perfect once they're off.
but when i think braces, i am of course thinking of teenage girls, not a fully-grown woman. which is not terrible since i am only 22, so it's not creepy for me to fantasize about girls of high school age or even date one should i be so lucky (she'd have to be a blonde virgin with braces of course  ) .
rock those braces, girls! and don't try to hide them or feel bad you have them; as is evidenced there are plenty of guys who will be totally into you despite your hardware or perhaps even because of it (although if they turn into a bf they will of course not be bummed or dump you when you have to get them [the braces] off).
and i have to say on a side note, the one rich girl at my school had the clear kind, and they looked worse than the standard metallic ones do. made her teeth look yellow/dirtier than they really were. mind that's some ten years ago, i reckon the tech has improved in that time.
and i never knew you could get "under"-braces, but they definitely sound like they'd hinder the use of one's mouth much more than regular ones. and i bet you'd rub the end of your tongue raw on them, even worse than standard ones do to lips. one benefit is you'd be far less likely to get stuck to a carpet with the under-type. but i'm speculating all of this, never having had or really been close to anyone that had them, over- or under-style.

Actually, when I had braces as a teenager, my social life got better as the braces were a huge improvement over the original. I was more self conscious about having braces when I got them again at 25. However, it didn't stop men from approaching me and wanting to be with me. I was actually kind of surprised. After a while I was quite confident wearing them. But I won't lie, I'm even more confident now that they're off. They did wonders for my smile. | |
