Posted: 7/29/2007 5:51:08 AM | mine is from last year and apart from being a few pounds heavier i still look the same, but do you have a fave pic that you use that might be a couple of years old or even longer?
Do you just assume the person you are chatting to looks like the pic they have now? ive not met anyone yet so not too sure how true this is really | |

The oldest i've got on my profile is from February this year.
The other's are from this Thursday. And one i took lastnight.
I've got a favourite piccy that i did keep on for ages, but it was over a year old, so thought I'd best get them updated.
I think most people do have recent piccy's of themselves on their profiles, but i have encountered a couple of guys who i moved to msn and got them on cam, they didn't look like their pictures at all.
The ones they had used on their profiles was 2-3 years old.
But that's the best thing to do, get them on cam before you meet,
then you know what they really look like. | |

Posted: 7/29/2007 5:57:05 AM | My pics range from Apr 06 to Jun 07 in age, so I hope not too different. I'm a bit of a yoyo size wise but generally am around the size you see. It's difficult to see size on a face pic, mind you my weight always goes to 2 places and one of them is my face lol.
When looking at pics I like to see a nice cross range, not so keen on the 'posed' ones that look professionally taken as they can be far from the reality. Pics are a good indicator of what someone looks like, but nothing more. | |

Took them friday when i had just come back from the hairdressers... I cant see the point of having ancient (as in 4 years ago) pics of yourself on here. You have to keep them current and resonably up to date or they arent a real image really are they? | |

I have loads of recent pictures but you just never know which one to put up, its a shame you cant do a short video clip as well as add pictures, that would be a cool addition to the site, but it is free after all and the server would need to be a lot bigger for that so its probably an impractical idea.  | |

i actually say that on my profile because i know some people use old photos, and i dont want tarring with that icky brush tyvm.
we all change but.... a year? for me thats too old a photo. a person can drastically change in just a month!
far better to have up to date photos then at least for good or bad you can make an honest judgement. | |

Posted: 7/29/2007 10:58:01 AM | I'd imagine most people assume others are likely to be 'snapped' on their Summer holidays or around Christmas/New Year so piccies 6/12 months old are not uncommon.
Anything drifting off into the 'years' benchmark is pushing it a bit...and stuff from the past decade (or two)  is outright deception!! | |
