Posted: 7/31/2007 10:34:28 AM | I have just seen the weather forcast and it looks to be on the up. It has been totally gorgeous here today. On Saturday its hopefully going to be 27 degrees here in the south.
So is Summer here in August, or are we just lucky to have a few nice days and summer has gone, never to be seen again, This year?? | |

I'm guessing so, the midge count was *really* up on my bike home from work this evening, and that's usually a pretty good indicator (if a somewhat unscientific one, I mean; I didn't actually stop and count each and every one of them or anything...). | |

I read that we are going to have good weather for at least the next five days, but as to summer arriving? I think it's been here for a while, it's just been hiding it's head under the clouds

Just hope this is true... and when the next brum meet comes around the nice weather will lift the party moods of people even more... if that is possible!  And a lot less pale people :) | |

Either way a period of consistent sunshine is probably highly unlikely in these northern wastlelands of the north east.

Had an afternoon at the beach and we all caught the sun a bit (kids had spf on, be sensible folks  ), i didnt though and have turned a nice light brown today
Back at the beach this afternoon.
Yep, seems summer arrived in Daaaaaarzet just in time for when we got here
