Posted: 8/3/2007 1:56:22 PM | | Oh, and I am one of those "computer techs" that often have to purge people's computers of all sorts of embarassing items... the most notable one to date was a friend of mine who brought me his computer after his 21 year old son moved back into the house, it suddenly was possessed by demons and couldn't even get online anymore, the popups were so bad... after I removed over a thousand "anime animal" porn shots ranging from S&M to REALLY weird stuff, thousands of "regular" porn clips and stills, three trojans and two viruses, he finally said to just reformat and reload it just in case, he didn't want to risk it! My best advice is to get an external drive for stuff you really dont want to lose or anyone else to access, and unhook it if the computer needs to go into a shop for some reason. | |
