We are changing the location of the Karaoke Meet & Greet to the:
Crown & Hand Pub (Across from the RCMP Barracks)
6330 Dewdney Ave
SAME DATE - SAME TIME!!
And now you can look for the BIG FISH on one of the tables to tell where we are

So we have a date and now we need the people so we do I have three great hostesses helping me on this as my sidekicks so I do....and they are Mystery person, Blondiegrneyz, Loneriderfbx....like to see more come on out so I would and I know we will all have a great time....If you like to sing or just come out and here the singing and maybe get up and do some dancing, or just sit around and chat have a drink or so well come on lets get the names up in the lights.....

Last Karaoke event that was held, brought out some fantastic singers but ya don't have to be good to come out. I can't hold a tune if my life depended on it but it's a lot of fun. | |

Posted: 8/7/2007 10:19:24 AM | Awww, I won't be able to make this one. I have family coming in from out of town that weekend to celebrate one family member's 50th birthday (there's also a football game that night so even organizing my family around that proved to be a challenge).
Sign up folks. I promise that you will enjoy yourselves immensely! Whether you get up to sing or just be entertained by those that do, join in the chat, or plan to meet that special someone you've been text messaging with, or go in and hug an absolute stranger who isn't even a POF'er (I still can't belive I did that *smacking forehead*), you will not be sorry you went !
The venue is perfect for a gathering of this size, the ladies hosting are fantastically friendly and socially adept (really, they did NOT pay me to type this). It's just a great place to meet and greet without the pressures of one on one meetings (if those make you nervous), and there's always someone to talk to.
You're on here to fish, so get fishing.  Who knows, you may even find someone to bait your hook ! ~wink~ | |

KissMyMapleLeaf and Girlsinger - I'm really disappointed you gals can't attend.
KissMyMapleLeaf - thank you for the kinds words and you're so right ...even if you don't get up to sing, come out to visit, dance and be entertained by those that do - you may even meet that special someone. There's been a few success stories of people meeting their partner at the get togethers. 
Hey popatop - glad to see you're joining us again. Could you hit the sign up button so we have somewhat of a head count.
