| crying on the curb Posted: 8/8/2007 2:17:47 PM | One day God decided to take a stroll through a major city. Before long, he comes across a young man sitting on a curb crying. God asks him why he's crying. The man replies, "Lord, I've been blind my whole life and have never been able to see a sunset." God heals the mans vision and they both spend time dancing for joy. God continues walking. Soon, he comes across another man sitting on the curb crying. God asks him why he's crying. The man responds, "Lord, I've been lame my entire life and have never known the joy of running, walking or dancing." God instantly heals him. Again, a large amount of time is spent jumping and dancing for joy. God continues his stroll. Before long, He sees another man sitting quietly with tears streaming down his face. God asks him why he's crying. The man, using sign language, responds , "Lord, I've been mute my entire life and have never had the joy of singing a song." God instantly heals him. Several hours are spent singing songs to each other. God continues His stroll. He comes across yet another man sitting on the curb crying. God asks him why he's crying. He responds, "Lord, I work for the public school system." So God sits down beside him and starts crying too. | |
