| Does anyone in Maine read the forums?
Posted: 8/8/2007 3:05:47 PM | | Ok, I responded to 3 or so forums, mainely about, "getting some kind of gathering for us mainers, single or girls night out" Does anyone read these? lol, I'll keep checking from time to time. I think it would be a great idea to meet somewhere centrally. I wish I had the time to plan and organize something, but I am currently working almost 60 hrs a week...any ideas? I thought Crystal Falls was a great place, I've been there a few times. Hopefully, something will be put into place | |

| Does anyone in Maine read the forums?
Posted: 9/6/2007 9:55:41 AM | I read the forums often. Not quite daily, but often. I don't know why Mainiacs seem to have a fear of public typing. It does seem to be deeply ingrained though!
When I am done with my home improvements, I will host a POF event at my place. Til then, I can supply ideas, I can even attend if the event is a Friday night or a Saturday. (I work the rest of the week out of state.)

Posted: 2/19/2008 12:59:30 PM | Well I am in Maine and just got to the forums, yet to read further than this. But judging from there being many more views than replies to the threads here, there are quite a few readers but few responders.
Which is quite common. I used to read and respond to a few guitar and keyboard forums, and noticed few viewers replied. There would be one or two replies per 50-100 people who read the thread. | |

As I was looking at the forums, from a newbies point of view, I was tempted to reply to quite a few threads. However, they spanned a couple of years, and I didn't want to be arriving at the party as everyone else was leaving.
Are there mixers in Maine? Preferable southern Maine and not the Canadian border of Maine?
