My dearest Psssst, if you should ever visit, I have the perfect 1st meal. The idea comes on the heels of Tea's question if you'd like any! We will have SPAM, covered with peaches, corn bread, blacked peas, tossed salad and 2 packs of pepto-bismol(Sp.) as needed (No doggie Bags allowed).
As always, know that I love you much and would go out of my way to southernize you as much as I can while your here.
Hehehehehehehehehehe!!!

K... back to the topic at hand, I believe that between Jeff cooking for me, me cooking for you and your gang and then of course going over to Tea's and Sea's homes... there simply wouldn't be enough time to explore the eclectic meal you've suggested...
I am nothing if not diplomatic...

and if I see any southernizing going on I will get the preacher and the shotgun and we will have us a weddin
Uhhhh Sea,
Before the "Shotgun Wedding" can take pace (She's seen "Deliverance" so there goes the element of surprise!!)......I would need to see her Rabies and Flea Vaccinations along with references of good behavior. I don't know....marry a Canadian....Hmmmmmm! Would my neighbors ever speak to me again....sniff, sniff?
Whatcha think Pssssssssssssssssssssssssssssst!!

I would need to see her Rabies and Flea Vaccinations along with references of good behavior. Oh Sneaks, this is your lucky day... I've called for copies of the vaccinations, and I'm in the process of extorting some letters of good behaviour out of a few people I know...
Hmmmmmm! Would my neighbors ever speak to me again....sniff, sniff? They might not, they would probably be too busy getting to know charming little ole me...
As an aside... should I get a lobotomy while I'm at it?... This way I would be so much more pliable to accommodating your lifestyle...
Just tryin' to help... | |

| Shrimp & Grits, The Wild Georgia Shrimp Festival Sept 14th Posted: 8/31/2007 8:37:02 PM | | I wish I were going - I would give you a ride. The distance is a little too far for me that weekend. But man, oh man, I can imagine the shrimp - native Floridian....I could eat shrimp 'til the cows come home. Too bad there's never an event up in my neck of the woods (the north GA mountains)... | |

| Shrimp & Grits, The Wild Georgia Shrimp Festival Sept 14th Posted: 9/6/2007 3:05:55 PM | I went there last year. Nobody could find any shrimp for sale. Plenty on hotdogs, hamburgers, and barbecue. But NO SHRIMP!!! Maybe it was the the first annual problems, but I ain't going back until other folks tell me they find some shrimp. By the way, I live 15 minutes from Jekyll. Good Luck. | |
