This is an urgent advisory notice from concerned citizens of Oregon and Washington about an upcoming U.S. Joint Forces Command emergency management exercise known as NOBLE RESOLVE 07-2 that will simulate te-rr-o-rism or disaster scenarios in the Lower Columbia River Basin between Aug. 20th and Aug 24th, 2007.
NOBLE RESOLVE 07-2 was designed and will be directed by U.S. Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) and the Department of Homeland Security. We are aware of no public notice concerning this exercise, but preliminary investigation has revealed that Oregon National Guard officials and federal officials will conduct the drill. Details from official sources are minimal.

I was learning how to approach vehicles during traffic stops...don't want anyone to pull a fast one! Perhaps it is only a drill in case something majorly bad happens. Posted: 8/20/2007 12:22:15 PM | If I lived in Portland.... I would be a little worried considering the "drills" that happened on 9/11 and on 7/7 that were suppose to simulate the very attacks that happened...
"On the morning of September 11th, 2001,****Cheney was running several war games in the north eastern portion of the United States. These drills included many hijacking scenarios, where commercial jets were hijacked and flown into buildings. At the same time Cheney had arranged for a drill involving a bio attack on NY. This resulted in FEMA setting up a command post on pier 29 in New York on September 10th"

so much better than having them out reacting on knee jerk reactions don't you think?
The millitary allways has drills,...they don't allways have them in the USA
but te one in the carribean is every year still I think an there's an Atlantic one,...and well, it's been a while I forget the others,... but the only way multinational military groups can function together is to practice together,...
I say keep them busy with practice and out of real harms way,.....becaus the side benefit in any multinational group doing anything together is their loss of doubt and distrust of an unknown,....they have a good time,...and get to know and respect each other,...BONUS and this is bad why again?
on a personal note,..I amglad that the USA no longer holds those exercises where they set off nukes in ,..."OUR" great whit north,....that is a practice we cado without
