- I have politely asked her many times NOT to view my profile, blocked her - and again and again, she just ignores it.
- She somehow bypasses the blocking feature and still insists on checkin' me out!

If she's never tried to contact you, and you keep messaging her, just to tell her not to view your profile, aren't you the "abusive user"
I think you're not understanding some of the features of this site.
-the "block" feature just blocks people from contacting you.
Judging by what you stated, this woman has never contacted you.
-the first line of the "viewed me" page, will always show the people who have viewed your profile in the past, sorted by when they were last online.
If she keeps appearing on the top line, it DOES NOT mean she keeps viewing you.
It just means that a person who has viewed you once has just been online.
What's wrong with viewing you anyway. If you are frightened to death, or going insane, because people view your profile, then maybe you shouldn't have a profile on a site like this?
Maybe this will drive you slightly further off the deep end: I viewed your profile too!!!!!!

op, go back and read someplace's post (msg 2) until it sinks in...

1) she is likely ignoring you, and thinks you are the abusive wacko. she viewed your profile at some point in the past, and you're not savvy enough to get that she is now appearing in the top row of users who viewed you at some point in the past. and, even if she shows up repeatedly in rows 2 - 5, who cares? blocking someone (and, just how did you do that if she never responded to you or sent a mail?) does not stop them from viewing you. what i find strange is that she has not blocked you.
2) if you can't stand someone repeatedly viewing you, imho, you do not belong on an internet dating site.
3) you might want to remove that blurb on your profile where you accuse this user, BY NAME, of being abusive. that infraction is likely to get your profile reported and deleted. | |

Posted: 8/22/2007 12:44:13 AM | Firstly I'd imagine you are misunderstanding how the sorting on the Viewed Me page works. It would be impossible to see them viewing you again and again. The top line of members have not viewed you again, they are just online again.
Secondly, it is not acceptable to post the name of another member on your profile or in the forums, instead:
 Contact me or any of the Forum Moderators
Thirdly, blocking someone will not stop them from being able to view your profile. If it is public it is public and will be easy for them to find.
If you would like to block your profile from view it is always your option to hide it.

You cannot make such a Request.
Anyone can view anybody else's Profile as he/she pleases.
The Restriction to have your Profile kept out of View is up to you.
Hide your Profile, remove that User from your Favourite's List, E-Mail Block and don't post on the Forums.
Its your Responsibility. There are no Rules against viewing anyone's Profile.
Anyone who you then add to your Favourites can freely view your Profile and E-Mail Message you, while completely staying off the Radar to everyone else.
 | The quickest Way to have your Profile deleted is to libel other User's on the Forums.
