| Why are we here Saturday night?
Posted: 8/25/2007 4:41:27 PM | It is Saturday night, the night is still young. I log onto POF and I see so many people online. Why are we all here and not out on a date or out with friends?
I know for me I had a long travel week for work and sitting at home has a great appeal to me tonight. However, I think i would still have been here even without my busy week as I have pretty much given up on dating for a while. Lack of success has pretty much led me to this hiatus. The forums keep me on POF.
So, why are you here on a Saturday night and nout out????? | |

Actually if it weren't for having my kid at home, I would have stayed the weekend but my 15 yr old would like to see me for a little while. | |

Posted: 8/25/2007 5:04:12 PM | | Because I was out last night, did not drive because I was having hitting pubs with friends, called a cab at 2AM which did not get to me until 3AM, got home and cooked up a snack, watched part of a movie on TV, then got to sleep around 5AM. I also have a Sunday brunch in the AM and a dinner party to go to tomorrow night, so likely best I hang in at home tonight. | |

a) I'm so very poor, I cannot afford to be out.
b) I have to work in the morning, not to conducive to a fun night out.
c) All of my friends are either home for the summer (I am a Uni. student, who remained here for the holidays), or are just as busy working as I am.
and perhaps the biggest reason of all, like most of the reasons provided by others...
d) I have no man, and no one asked me out for the evening.
All of which is technically fine by me, I'm having a pleasant, albeit slightly boring, night in with my, myself and I. :) | |

Posted: 8/25/2007 5:27:45 PM | Because after a week of early mornings and late nights....the last thing I want to do is be "out". Tonight, I'm staying in so that I can recover from my work week. Tomorrow I'll stay in to get ready for next week....
It's a good thing I'm single or I'd really be beat!
Hope everyone is enjoying themselves....regardless of where they are and what they're doing.

Posted: 8/25/2007 5:41:00 PM | I'm here because I can't seem to get a (decent) date with a (decent & willing) man if I offered to pay him!!! My profile has been viewed 171 times on match.com..yes...I said 171 times!!! Wow!! I don't know whether to be depressed or congratulate Dr. Phil on another great financial success of his genious!!!! I live West of Cleveland...any single,divorced gals interested in going out on weekends about once a month???? I'm 46 and I can get along with just about anyone....no illegals drugs, social drinking, dancing, conversation...etc...Please send me a message...oh and yes, if you have kids or a kid around the age of 7 to 9 - I could use an occasional sitter on weekends....."occasional" that is!!!!! Not into the bar scene alot.

Nothing better than sex with someone you love!!!
I am home because I work like an animal for 40 hours per week, and then on Saturdays I make computer repair calls for a private business I have. Because of that I have very little time with my dog and she is still so young and impressionable that I need to spend a lot of time with her so she doesn't experience separation anxiety from being alone so much.
And the Browns are on tonight. In 10 minutes in fact.
And I just bought an iPhone and I am playing with it and learning how it works. (And it is an incredible piece of electronic gear!!) I am downloading a movie to put on it, loading music onto it....

Posted: 8/25/2007 5:55:48 PM | i worked all day, then went to a wedding. the bride didn't see fit to show up until an hour after the wedding was to start. i got disgusted and left before the ceremony even started.
it's too stinking hot to do anything else and i'm going to a horse show bright & early tomorrow morning. so i'm enjoying some down time on my saturday night. | |

What’s wrong with being home?
Besides, I’m retired so every night is like a weekend night to me.
Also, it’s a little early yet. I’ll stop by a house party later, but mostly just do a walkthrough and say hello to everyone.
