| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 8/26/2007 6:28:44 PM | Anyone here interested in the upcoming season i can't wait for it. Watching the new Boston outfit with 'The big 3', the revelation that is Greg Oden. How will Seattle do with Durant and Green? The sleepers, will Miami make the playoffs? | |

| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 8/26/2007 7:19:43 PM | | I'm not sure if Boston will go all the way but anyone think the Spurs can win it again in '08? | |
| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 8/26/2007 8:44:12 PM | | I really hope this is the Suns' year. (If LA can't win a title, which is unlikely) I also hope Kobe wins the MVP. I am also looking forward to seeing Boston, Oden, and Durant. | |
| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 8/27/2007 3:43:53 PM | The Spurs will make the playoffs and thats as far as i'll go about predicting if they get past the first round and even into the conference finals.I definitely think this is the Suns year and IMO thay got robbed in the playoffs against the Spurs. I look for the Charlotte Bobcats to make their first ever playoff appearance too. | |

| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 8/27/2007 4:20:39 PM | | Barring an injury to Duncan, the Spurs are still the team to beat. | |
| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 8/27/2007 5:37:17 PM | | The Spurs are definitely the team to beat. However, they've never won back-to-back titles. Can they do it this year? Myths are made to be broken... | |
| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 8/27/2007 6:04:58 PM | | I'm hoping the Spurs will repeat their championship this coming season. | |
| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 8/28/2007 8:19:55 AM | As a diehard Mavs fan I'm hoping this will be our year. I think the Suns are probably the team to beat and I love Steve Nash so that would be ok too. Spurs.......well since they are a Texas team I have to back them if all else fails
Boston should be a contender in the east with Garnet. | |
| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 8/28/2007 10:09:53 AM | | Enough with the Spurs, I hope my Knicks straighten themselves up & make superb effort! I also would like to see how NJ/Brooklyn Nets will utilitize the ownership hoopla & actually have a menacing roster. I hated on Nets before but I will like them soon. Eastern Conference FTW! | |
| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 8/28/2007 10:47:48 AM | | Going to be Boston's year!!Sorry Cleveland, one superstar, as much a star as he is, is not enough! Looking forward to the return of our glory days! CELTIC PRIDE! | |
| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 8/30/2007 9:14:12 PM | | Celtics are in need i think of one more good player comin off the bench in particular an excellent or proven veteran role player. Just someone to grab rebounds or play inside defence or somethin. P.J Brown would fit this role perfectly if he came back that is he can rebound and is an excellent inside defensive player. | |

| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 8/31/2007 12:22:58 AM | | I read the post and have this to say....boston,forget about it...they are too young and talentless at this point, the east is weak, yes, but not THAT weak....the spurs have a good chance....but with the suns obtaining grant hill,it gives them one more offensive weapon...I used to like the spurs, because of duncan, until i watched the playoffs last year, and seen how dirty they play, not just bowen, but robert horry as well....I dont see them beating the suns,or the mavs,as long as dirk doesnt regress or get injured.the heat??dark horse?hardly...shaq is an old guy in nba years(like dog years.)and looks bored out there,he doesnt seem to have the same drive he once did.....and flash needs to be uninjured a full season.the magic obtained lewis this offseason, but i dont think it will help.dwight howard isnt improving offensively, proof of that is on espn2,where usa basketball is crushing the other teams...he just simply isnt developing offensively, and they need him to to go anywhere.and someone mentioned the knicks(enter laugh track here)...as long as isiah is around forget it...andwhen you have stephon marberry as your player, you will lose.look at the suns and the t pups for that,he is a selfish player who doesnt make anyone around him better.if you want darkhorses,Ill give you one from each conference.....houston..i think yao is finally toughing up some, and should do well, and on the eastern side..hmmm....tough call here...i have to go w the bobcats...simply because no one expects anything out of them. | |

| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 8/31/2007 4:48:37 AM | It's easy to predict who will be the NBA Champion this upcoming season. Just find out who the referees are betting on.... Sorry, NBA fans, but I think your sports credibility rating has dropped below that of not just MLB...but hell...with refs involved in gambling scandals, your credibility rating falls even below that of Vince McMahon rasslin'.... Maybe I'll be an NBA ref and then make it where the Atlanta Hawks win the title... | |

| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 8/31/2007 6:35:41 AM | | The Boston Celtics acquired 3 talented players in Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett and James Posey in the off-season.I'm not saying they'll reach the NBA Finals or even the Conference Finals, but there's no argument that they'll make a strong push in the Eastern Conference and finish a hell of alot better than 2nd worst team in the league. | |
| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 9/3/2007 4:52:08 AM | i totally agree with you there. I used to like the Spurs till i saw what they did to the Suns -Steve Nash in particular.Horry I hate(well i don't hate on anyone really) but what a dirty player he is. The Suns would have beaten the Spurs if not for their dirty tactics. I think the C's might start off a bit slow but will pick up alot of w's around mid to late season, i look for Boston to finish 4th - 5th in the East | |
| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 9/9/2007 9:27:37 PM | | The Spurs are going to repeat and the Suns will never beat the Spurs in the playoffs when it counts and Cleveland will make it to the Finals again. The Mavericks always choke when it counts. | |

| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 9/13/2007 8:51:48 AM | The western conference is still where it is at. No one in the east can match up....Boston made the right moves...but can Allen handle a full season with those knees? Doubt it. The Piston's are strong as always, Cleveland is up and coming...but here comes my team.......the RAPTORS!!!!!! Bosh and Braginani(likely spelled wrong) are going to be a force, with some talented players around these guys (ie-Ford) we have as good a chance to fight our way through the east as anyone else. The betting scandal aside...this year will be very interesting....there are some talented young clubs out there that might be ready to step it up.
GO RAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!! | |

| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 9/13/2007 3:52:59 PM | | Nash is a poor defender man and when the Suns face the Spurs Tony Parker will drive at will on his ass and do anything he wants in the paint whether it's dishing off to Duncan or kicking it out to the shooters.I love Nash but unless the Suns improve their defense the Spurs will most likely win in a playoff series. With Grant Hill added their wing defense immediately becomes stronger.I don't see Miami making the playoffs to tell you the truth after that sweeping from the Bulls in the first round.I wouldn't be surprised if Chicago make the finals either. | |
| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 9/13/2007 4:18:15 PM | | Nash nor Parker can guard one another. Then again, what PG can guard either one of them? SA has to put Bowen on Nash, but Nash still puts up ridiculous numbers. Defense is a team philosophy, not a one man show. It's about rotations mainly, seeing as how it's extremely hard to stop an NBA player one on one. | |

| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 9/14/2007 5:35:10 AM | | Now that Oden is out for the year I don't think the Trail Blazers can even win 25. They don't have the depth at big man sicne the trading of Randolph. As for my team, the 76ers, I think Andre Iguodala is ready to become a all-star. dalembert is injured, and we traded the back-up center to the nuggets for reggie evans. i hope he becomes back to his form when he was with the sonics,. if he does, andre miller doing what he did last year, korver with the htrees, dalembert comes back and still averages almost a double double, we oculd be looking at playoffs. | |
| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 9/14/2007 6:12:47 PM | are you kidding me, the stinking sixer? the east got better and the sixer have no chance. Even with Oden, we in the northwest didn't even think they were playoff contender anyway, prolly two more year. Celtic is going to come out of the East, KG took the wolve to the final with Spree and Sam I am, Imagine where he could take them with PP and Ray. | |

| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 9/19/2007 8:50:09 PM | | The spurs are the favorite this year to win, but dont count out the celtics with KG, allen, and pierce. together them three will help boston get into the playoffs and past the first round for the first time in a long time. the bulls with noah helping out wallace and brown in the middle with hinrich and gordon and nicioni, they will make it to the NBA FINALS!!!!!! | |
| The NBA 07-08 season Posted: 9/24/2007 9:14:34 AM | finally someone comments on the RAPS...... we are going to be such a force this year, bargs is going to start hitting his stride, bosh is going to be well bosh, we have the best pg combo in the league with ford and calderon (except possibly the suns, but balbosa plays a lot of sg there) plus with the signings weve made this summer like kapono Maceo Baston, Jermano Moon, and Delfino, just think of it this way, if we have bargs, either pg, kapono and parker on the floor with bosh, we'll have 4 shooters around the arc, with bosh have a hell of a lot of room to do what he does best, go to the basket, out offence is going to be able to streach soooo much d bosh is going to playing like dwight howard this year...
go RAPS | |
