You can edit it if it has been within 15 minutes. You cannot delete it altogether.

You could always hope that 7 people think it shouldn't be a thread and they delete it.

When you started your thread, did you notice the big bold letters that were right beside the post button?

Anything you post can not be deleted

The thread in question appeared to be redundant and posted in the wrong forum. You wanted profile reviews if anything. Any thread yelling, "look at my profile" belongs in the profile review section.
