Im talking toe curling "i wish the ground would open up and swallow me" Situations.
Or has anyone done something to make an a$$ of them selves in front of you?
And how do you handle it? laugh about it?....Ignore it?
I had just started seeing a guy,was really into him to,and we were going to go out one night partying.Anyways,without going into too much detail we decided to start early and proceeded to get pretty mashed at mine.Time went by,and we were standing(or maybe swaying by then) in the kitchen talking,when i passed out,fell face forward,and cracked my head on the breakfast bar (I was obviously quite humiliated.
Turned out ok because he picked me up and made a fuss of me,and well..was soon seeing stars of a different kind hehe.
But whats the worse thing youve ever done on a date? and how'd you handle it? | |

Posted: 8/28/2007 1:18:45 AM | I once went on a blind date. He was a fireman and i thought 'Yay, get in there!!' He turned up and looked like Jasper Carrott dressed as a teenager, not a good start. Anyway, he wanted to know what my parents did so i told him my father was pretty high up in the government here on the Isle of Man. He went ballistic! In the middle of a pub, slagging off the government, how they've never done anything for him, and all this was at the top of his voice in the middle of a crowded pub, while i just sat there and took it !!! Once he'd finished, he left and i was sitting there with all these people looking at me! Luckily an elderly couple from the next table came to see if i was ok and they bought me a drink.  | |

Posted: 8/28/2007 1:36:26 AM | I arranged to meet a guy at my local and took a friend.. things were going really well... he went to the bar and got some drinks.. then another guy came up and asked me to dance.. I explained that I was with someone, so he left... date came back and asked who it was, I explained ... all good... then my friend asked me to dance, so looked round to the dance floor and the guy who asked me earlier was stood there... he winked at me and the next thing I knew.. my date flew out of his chair and started to kick ten bails of shite out of him.... I looked at my mate and said... "playing with fire!" yep lets go... we left the pub.... couldnt go down there for a while | |
