| Megadeth-United Abominations Posted: 8/29/2007 5:18:59 AM | Megadeth has put out a lot of great music, but this newest cd has to be their best!!Very close to Countdown To Extinction Like most of the music he writes, being politically correct. This cd tells a whole story, from the first tune to the last about something that went wrong way back on 9-11. For those who have listened to this cd , Do you think his version of events where close to what really happened, and what should be done? Also just wondering how many people think Dave was better off being on his own, rather than with Metallica ? Dave Mustaine for President | |

| Megadeth-United Abominations Posted: 8/29/2007 10:55:01 PM | | Its definitely the most interesting album of their latter efforts, thats for sure. Personally, I think Megadeth still have it in them, just like they did when they came out with Peace Sells back in 1986. Listening to United Abominations just makes you forget the fact that they put out a near pop/rock album with Risk back in 99. | |

| Megadeth-United Abominations Posted: 11/30/2007 12:37:58 PM | | It's more Dave Mustaine nowadays, the band lineup is completely different than any of the old classics. No more Nick Menza, Marty Friedman, or Dave Ellefson. I did like "The System has Failed", but nothing will EVER come close to "Rust in Piece" as far as Megadeth goes. | |

| Megadeth-United Abominations Posted: 5/20/2008 9:18:00 PM | I think Mustaine is much better off not in Metallica. Mustaine is now considered a pioneer of thrash, and Metallica has lost their edge in my view.
I agree with your review of United Amominations; I think it's just proof that Mega is still going just as strong as ever! | |

| Megadeth-United Abominations Posted: 5/22/2008 10:01:18 AM | | Saw Megadeth live last year and then this year may 2nd, such a solid band, blew Bodom and In flames outa the water when it came to performance. Megadave gets better every year. It was disheartening to see people leaving the concert before they hit the stage being one of the few bands to stay true to real metal and not slowing it down. | |
