| THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE IN NH!! Posted: 8/19/2005 5:36:49 PM | | Hello. I'm here!! I'm sorry I'm so late! I've been floundering around on the internet sea, on a flimsy raft of false promises left over from the cyber-yacht I thought was fun and easy to board. However, I soon found out that the promises all have a leak or two. They all promise free, but they're actually "free"*. Fee for this, join for that, membership for those options, credit cards for these activities. But, praise and hallelullah! I've finally found this island of sanity and local natives! New Hampshirites even!! (New Hampshirians?) I say; meet/date for free, or die! (well, maybe not DIE, but, gosh darn it, I'll certainly catch a heck of a cough!) | |

| THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE IN NH!! Posted: 11/28/2005 2:10:44 PM | | Are there any POF meet/greets happening? perhaps even in the Mass area? Somewhere nearby? | |
|
| THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE IN NH!! Posted: 1/23/2006 12:34:23 PM | | If you live on the boarder in may help to search people from Mass. Methuen and North Andover arent too far away. | |
|
| THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE IN NH!! Posted: 1/25/2006 6:14:24 PM | | I consider NH, MA, and southern ME pretty much one area. In NH, most of what you'll find is from Manchester down to the MA border. Sure, there are people north of that, but speaking as someone from Concord, things thin out pretty fast once you get north of Manchester. I'm in the state capitol, and I'll tell you what, there are a couple of places here but overall it's kinda quiet. Any smart businessman or woman could make a killing up here if they opened a club/bar and did it right. | |

| THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE IN NH!! Posted: 2/23/2006 1:45:58 PM | Try livin in Plymouth NH.
Damm I hate it when I find a date up here and I have to shave their backs!
|
| THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE IN NH!! Posted: 3/17/2006 7:15:37 AM | | Plymouth is a big city compared to the town I live in in the summer up there. Ever heard of Jefferson? | |
|
| THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE IN NH!! Posted: 3/17/2006 9:02:43 AM | | Also of note is how the pickings here in the NH and MA area are ultra-slim so I disregard location alltogeather whenever I do an advanced search. Though once in awhile I'll search within 10 miles of methuen or 10 miles of my town, though often have no luck. | |

| THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE IN NH!! Posted: 9/26/2007 9:48:04 AM | "Live Free or Die"
I miss the Old Man in the Mountain, whose head fell off one night.
Did you know:
--The phrase: "Them's fighting words," comes from a significant New Hampshire Superior Court case.
--In Concord, at the backside of the Statehouse, there are several Black Walnut trees? Their nuts are wonderful! (Don't forget though that you have to "age" any nut for a few months--else they're "green.") The seeds of these trees came from a tree that George Washington grew. They were donated to the State by a Boy Scout Troop. Collecting is allowed. Once I brought a rope with a weight at the end of it and threw it over branches so that I could grab both sides and shake the branches. I came home with about ten gallons of nuts--they make exquisite chocolate chip/nut cookies.
--Blood Suckers are amazingly beautiful while swimming in the water. They are up to five inches long, but if one sticks to you, it contracts into an ugly and disgusting thing. I saw one once, from a canoe that looked as though she was trying to copy an iridescent tiger.
*lol* Things you really didn't need to know--did you really read them all?

| THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE IN NH!! Posted: 11/24/2007 1:05:47 AM | There was some discussion about a year ago intending to arrange some kind of NH-ME-northernMass get together. I don't remember if anything ever came out of it, but it would be fun to organize something... maybe a lunch or an outing. I know that Newick's (really good seafood, just outside of Manchvegas) has a large meeting room that can hold almost 200 people. I don't know that we could pull in THAT many people, but still. It would be worth it to organize.

| THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE IN NH!! Posted: 11/28/2007 6:51:22 PM | | we should creat a get together in concord...... sort of a monthly thing... maybe meet in borders in the cafe section or something.... | |
|
| THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE IN NH!! Posted: 12/1/2007 12:59:18 AM | I wanted to suggest something outdoorsy that would be fun no matter how many people showed up. Unfortunately, it's so cold out right now...
One possibility is a Monarchs game. The season is on right now, and the arena will hold as many people as show up. Can't speak for the food.

| RE: THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE IN NH!! Posted: 12/11/2007 8:40:43 AM | Yes, there are lots of people from NH, too bad most of them women don't bother to upload photos. I'm not into the whole "BLIND DATE" thing with some mystery woman. I like to know what I am getting into before I meet someone. In fact I won't even write to people on here without a picture on their profile. Hope that doesn't make me seem conceited, but for real, this is the digital age, get a picture already!!

| THERE ARE PEOPLE HERE IN NH!! Posted: 1/11/2008 7:02:50 PM | Totally agree that once a month there ought to be a get together of POF in the Concord, NH Region. Would open up who is out there and would be a good ice breaker for all singles looking for that connection in life. Meeting in person is so much more personal other than e-mails alone. Garland35 | |
