I think it would be terribly strange to have loved someone for a length of time then not keep some of those fonder feelings for later. What's the point in loving someone if you don't intend to continue to at least remember the good things after the blow-apart. I don't understand the "he's an ex for a reason" type thing ~ my ex cheated, so what? He's no longer my problem. Do I miss sex with that particular ex, heavens NO sex was  do I miss his sense of humor? Terribly. There is an ex that I definitely miss the sex ~ he had NO sense of humor. So in my twisted little mind, I just pick and choose what I miss and/or don't. But I miss them all in some way.  | |

There has to be something drastically wrong (anatomically or otherwise) if you can't help your partner be an excellent lover (FOR YOU!!!). Men require directions sometimes, ladies -- it's that simple. You miss sex with your exes because you haven't found anyone new that you feel comfortable with enough, or that you care enough about, to "train"...
Just an observation...

Also the main question is about Missing ex sex, so many are replying to that. Not thinking about changing someone else to fit their needs. Just pointing that out. | |

Some men think they know everything and refuse to "take instructions." Some men constantly tell you what you are doing wrong, rather than try to fix the "problems." Yes, I was married for a very long time to one of those men. But since then I have found that the "bad sex" was NOT my problem. | |

I suppose I've been fortunate to have mostly very vocal, insightful, self-knowledgeable, and directive partners. I've always been thankful for that. I feel like an experienced lover, and I think I understand the female anatomy and bedroom psychology rather well. But I also realize that all women are different and require differnt stimuli. Plus, I'm smart enough to know that when you continually encounter, dozens and dozens of times, a statistic that reads something like, "less than 15% of all women can orgasm through vaginal penetration," that it can ONLY help to expand one's repertoire....*grin*

i think anyones gonna miss sex with sumone they cared for as long as the relationship didnt come down to a "war of the roses" type thing.
there was a reason u were with the person u were and even though it may not have worked out...ya still miss aspects of the relationship. maybe its only the sex u miss. but i think in many cases...ur gonna miss a bit more than that. | |
