| Salsa dancing in and around Los angeles Posted: 9/16/2007 1:22:59 PM | Hello everyone.
Any one interested in learning or just enjoy salsa dancing?
I go to clubs about three nights a week, there is always a lesson before the class and then open dance.
Sundays in Marina Del Rey, Tuesdays in Calabasas, and Fridays in studio city.
These are just the ones that I attened but there is something going on every night of the week. I would love to be part of a roaming POF salsa club. I am going tonight if anyone wants to check it out.
Anyone down? | |

| Salsa dancing in and around Los angeles Posted: 9/17/2007 8:23:52 PM | I'm interested. I only have Tues, Thurs and every other weekend free though. I've gone to a Cuban restaurant in Pomona on a Friday night once. That's closer to me than the places you've mentioned.
Do you dance well?
I'm pretty good at Salsa and pretty good at Lindy Hop (swing) as well. I know of a lot of places to dance swing but not many places (near me) to dance salsa.

Violettskye, where do you go swing dancing? I live in Northern CA now but may be relocating to Southern CA in the spring and I love to swing dance/Lindy hop.

| Salsa dancing in and around Los angeles Posted: 12/30/2007 5:16:10 PM | I'm keen on dancing in South Orange County, but would go as far north as Huntington during the week as i'm in Laguna Niguel.
New Year's Resolution is to take some dance lessons and get out more often..anyone on here like to go dancing with an average dancer? :) (me that is!)..or would like to take lessons together...no strings here..just fun and lessons somewhere!
I took lessons 15 years ago but then had nobody to practice with, so it's mostly all gone. I'd like to try ballroom, salsa/latin, even 'modern' dance ..ie look better at nightclubs...if such a thing.
Maybe have to checkout the Havanna Cabana, though don't mind paying for a good series...just has to be flexible as i'm out of town on business once a month on avg.

World class teachers. I learned quite a few routines and shines from them when they visited Bay Area and were still married.
There's no better choice in LA.
