The band first recorded Born in the USA in 1982, but it was not released until the album came out.
His song "Born in the USA" has been parodied by rap group 2 Live Crew.
Ronald Reagan wanted to use the song "Born in the USA" for his campaign, but Bruce refused because he felt that Reagan was misinterpreting the song's meaning.
Bruce owns a vintage blue Corvette.
His birthday was just a few days ago... September 23, 1949. That makes him a Virgo.
He's 5' 10" tall and ever so sexy even at 58 years young~
I saw Bruce in concert for the first time when I was 16 years old and man oh man was I head over heals in love with the man that could sing like no other.

born sept 23, married and divorced julianne somebody then hooked up with patti scialfa (sp?) they've been together a lonngg time now... think they have 3 kids, saw something not long ago about the oldest one, Evan, overturning his canoe and being rescued by the rangers - wouldn't have made the news if it was me 
lastly wish he'd stick more to music and less to politics but I'm a fan forever!! | |

Posted: 9/28/2007 4:47:56 AM | Silverion, sorry about the quip earlier, but I wanted to correct your assumption about him avoiding the draft, it's not true. He did report for induction but failed the physical. It is actually quite a moving story. He talked about it at one of his live shows I was at. His Dad and he did not get along, so his Dad kept saying "Wait until the Army gets you!" After he failed his physical, [At this point the audience claps, but Bruce says "It's nothing to be proud of"] he goes home and tells his Dad, expecting fireworks. Instead his Dad says "I'm glad, Son."
Just wanted to correct that and caution that these days it's easier than ever for false stories to get around. With something that negative people should really try a little harder not to just blindly pass along stories without verifying tham first. Just my opinion. | |

He evaded the draft by going to Canada.
You really should do better research before you slag someone like that. Bruce received his draft card, was tested and was labelled 4F. | |
