Do you still do anything ridiculous, a total time waster, that is a leftover from you childhood?

I still do connect the dots. I could never draw very well, so it always amazes me how the dots form into a picture. If another adult were around, I would not do the dot-thingie. I also do the childish find the object hidden in the puzzle thing.

I like to watch the Flintstones, too, but fortunately, they are not on when I have access to the TV.

Am I all alone in this?

Read signs, billboards, etc out loud. I am still oddly fascinated by the fact that I can read. Unconsiously pick my belly button at night when sleeping. Opt for food that requires licking: ice cream on the cone, popsicle, frosting on a cupcake, etc. I am easily distracted by shiney things like sequined flip-flops, Bedazzled t-shirts, etc.

I've retained my childlike wonderment towards nature, bugs, animals, eco-sytem, etc. This wonderment has actually crossed itself over into a full blown curiosity about the wonders & depravities of human nature.
I still love cartoons & now that we have computer animation i've become hooked on those.

I still absent-mindedly twirl my hair around my finger when nervous or concentrating. I still give family members Slinky's in their Christmas stockings every year. This tradition started from my dad when I little and I just love them!!!

Saw a "where's Waldo" puzzle....and Waldo was the only image in it, repeated multiple times...guess it was for blondes....(kidding!)

I dunno....stilll think up ideas and little inventions here and there, but, as I grow older, I realize that building a prototype CAN be dangerous, and usually refrain from doing so. Dad was NOT impressed when I blew all the fuses right out of the fusebox and had to use pliers to get the remains out to replace them....nor with the nuclear cloud chamber...nor the carbon arc furnace....

ahem? what's wrong with doing those find the hidden picture and what's wrong with this picture thingy's? Now I have also advanced to the spot the differences ones on the Coffee News ... just easy time fillers (not wasters) when you don't have time to do a complete Suduko or crossword puzzle.
I colour/paint when I am stressed,... started with doodle arts eons ago but I still like it. ( OK I disguise it by painting the windows at work at Christmastime. )
If no one is looking and I spot a hopscotch I'll give it a quick go too.
Growing older is compulsory, growing UP is NOT.

I love to watch Leave it to Beaver reruns, along with Adam 12 and the Beverly Hillbillies. Oh and I love to swing on the swings in the local park. The last one isn't ridiculous, except maybe to those watching me. Oh well, maybe they should lighten up and learn to cut loose once in a while!!

I still build plastic scale model cars, only much better and more detailed than I did when I was when I was a kid. Same for all the other model builders my age range that I know. I also still have aquariums, just bigger with bigger fish.

I also still like to watch The Three Stooges. I have lately but they've been run recently within the past few years. One time was I was visiting my parents and I was watching them, my Dad sees me and says "you still watch them". I said, "they're still funny". NYUK, NYUK, NYUK.

I am the only woman I know that finds the Three Stooges to be funny. I used to watch The Stooges with my Dad, and I love them and those memories of us laughing out loud together.

Chocolate or any sort of cake that is iced , whether a layer or flat cake, matters not, but I still demurely eat the cake first and save the icing for last! I did hear of an adult who rolled spoonfuls of cake into little balls and eat it that way. And pureed apricots a la Gerber still taste yummy tho' rare it is that I buy them. One 'habit' I gladly left in my childhood was the need to put ketchup on just about everything, yet never ever used ketchup on french fries. Chocolate milk? ....well, still a fond weakness, but not a sin! Noct. Princess- I used to always watch the 3 Stooges and then try to dodge the antics when my brother 'practiced'. We had a blast! "woo woo woo woo woo"!!!

You're not alone. My friend was baking a whole whack of pumpkin pies yesterday so I gave her a hand. We had two ovens going for hours. We got our hands all gooey cleaning the pumkins and stood out on the deck in our bare feet and let the rain cool us off at one point.

As a kid, whenever I made a sandwich I would put the square ends together/rounded ends together and eat the rounded side last. Still do it till this day (but try to do it covertly).

Oh god. did I lose any of the habits and hobbies? I still adore stuffed animals and anything cute. As much as I want an adult room to suit my age, it still looks like it belongs to a 13yr old. I bought a box of tissues for my bedroom. The box has Baby Looney Tunes on it.

I always ate the food on my plate as a child in a circle...I'd eat all of one thing, then eat the next going clockwise. I still do that almost all of the time. Still cuddle with a huge Pikachu pillow when I'm sick...and my hot water bottle fits into the body of a dog plushie so it keeps heat longer, and is furry and cute.

I don't think I'll ever grow out of most of my childhood things.

I hate to admit this, but when I was little before I feel asleep I would get on all fours and rock myself to a silly song I made up about my siblings. I sung that dang song everynight until I was 8 or 9.
Last Winter I had a bad fever and my fiance told me I was doing something strange in bed. I ask her what and she did it for me and I totally freaked out

I also still like:
Throwing snowballs at cars
Running wild in the ceral isle
Digging out the prize first.

I have a fascination with paper airplanes, I can make about 100 different ones now and I also love making up stories with the children I visit in the hospital, I will start the story off and they will add to it. Just look at all the grown men that still play with model trains, I think that could be one of the biggest hobbies that is carried on from childhood.

I've recently set up a tank in my living room & got back into it. It's great...!!
