Posted: 10/1/2007 12:42:49 PM | We have started up a new Dance - Jam Fridays at the Trafalgar Pro - Patria Legion # 292 411 Gorge Rd. E in Victoria. 8 pm until close. It is on the corner of Gorge Rd. E. and Jutland Rd. No Membership needed. It has a Huge Dance Floor , Great Stage, Cheap Drinks, ample Free Parking and a games room with Snooker and Pool tables , darts and shuffleboard. Bring you friends if you dance and your instruments if you play. We have a full PA , Amps and Drums. You can bring your band or we will make up one for you as we have many stellar musicians. Lets get up dance and play with the Islandmusicman and friends.

We had over 120 people last week so I thought it would be nice to get some POFers out too. It's a big venue with room for over 250. We want lots of dancers to come out and enjoy the live jammed music and the more musicians the better. | |

There should be more this week as we have many from all over the Island and the next week with POFers will be more. I was told all played too. It's best to be earlier to sign up as if the numbers keep growing we may not get everyone on and that's a drag. The House band only played 2 songs to close the night up. | |

Posted: 10/7/2007 1:50:31 AM | | Hi all and yes it is every Friday I just posted it here as an event for the 12th. It's my first time hosting. I will do it weekly for as long as we are at the legion. It was fun on the 5th with a few POFers and should be way better on the 12th with lots. I haven't got a marked POF table or anything like that. I hope all POFers will find each other by recognising each other lol. Maybe someone can bring something to mark a table or area. See you there. | |
