To answer your first question, looks arent everything but they generally come first. I've been with people I wasn't initially attracted to but this is a rarity, usually the attraction comes first and a personal relationship develops from there. | |

Posted: 10/9/2007 2:40:53 PM | If a woman friend needed a place to stay for awhile then yes I would let her stay without expecting any "special" treatment. Actually I just had a friend who hit very hard times and she needed a place to stay, I guess it made her feel to weird to stay at my place so she declined my offer but it still stands if she needs a place to stay she is more then welcome.
As for what i'm more attracted to, i'm attracted to a woman who has a good heart and head on her shoulders, I will admit that if she was pretty badly overweight I would prolly decline an offer to go out only because I find it very hard to be attracted to a very overweight person, however if she is a chubby (sorry couldn't find a better word atm) and a bit overweight I would be more then happy to go out with her if she seemed like a good woman ^_^. | |

The other woman is my friend. I'd do the same for a guy. Doesn't mean I want to have sex with him, even if he does.
However, I don't "hit on" any women for sex. Other men might do it just to get even more sex. | |

They wouldn't just look us in the face and say "If you don't know why I'm mad you really don't know me at all" or something of the sort. They wouldn't AVOID talking about things with us and they would NEVER hide anything from us.
The world is not perfect. GF's that are straightforward and honest are far and few between let alone a GF that wants to be our best friend. Thus the necessity for a translator. A Girl who is just a friend who can translate the BS we're fed by the women we date into straightforward direct tangible information. | |

I am immediately turned off by women who do things to themselves/their body yet hold other's behaviours as the reason/fault they do such things. I can't understand why a woman would think a guy considers you are "OK in the head" for doing indignant things to yourself because "Men do it too!"
In my opinion, a woman who makes such a claim signifies to me she has the mind of an adolescent teen. Therefore, I couldn't imagine her making mature decisions when in a position that could compromise a relationship.
I guess what I am saying is that I don't like women who are not accountable for their behaviour. Using scapegoats is a very big turn off to me. In most cases... I'm done with the woman as soon as I hear those words come out of her mouth.
These type people hold everyone else accountable for their own wrongdoings even though they remain using scapegoats.

Some guy (we'll call him Bob) had a girlfriend in the past (let's call her Jane) who was a good person but overweight. They broke up but remained friends. Now Bob is going out with someone else (how about Mary), who is a good person AND has a good body. So, what you're asking is... now that Bob is going out with Mary, why the heck does he still keep in contact with Jane? Is that what you're asking?
Well if so, a friend is a friend, there's no reason to dump a friend just because you have a new girlfriend, nor is there reason to fool around with the friend just because we had a past together. I don't know if you're the Jane or the Mary, but either way I'd say leave it alone. If my girlfriend asked me to dump a friend, I'd probably dump the girlfriend instead. If an ex-turned-friend who knew I was seeing someone tried to put the moves on me I'd be pissed at her for trying to ruin my relationship. | |
