Posted: 5/15/2005 4:28:29 PM | Okay, I haven't started a new thread in a while... this one may not be a hit... but I have little else to do on a Sunday...
The secret of on line dating.....
I seem to have picked up a fair fan club, great ladies who appear to think I am a great guy "if I only lived closer... " Which is great... more on that in a minute...
Those that live local, or close enough to be readily feasible... Refuse to talk... or even respond...
For those in the gray area, it works right up to the point where one is willing to make the effort to travel the distance ... then they evaporate.
So there you have it guys... all you need to is fib about where you live, make sure that you appear to live at least 100 miles from the one you are interested in and then surprise her...
For the ladies... well... the last 4 ladies that took a serious interest me, have all "found" someone nearly immediately... and 3 of those are still going strong... I guess I seem to be a reverse good luck charm...
Use this information as you will... but... this is what appears to be happening... To all the ladies that think I am great... All I can say is... you know who you are... and I appreciate all of you... and I am seriously thinking of moving to Canada/Florida/Texas/California etc...

I have met quite a few but when most of them find out that I can not drop everything I am doing and start to relvolve my life around them then that is the end. Good grief I don't even know them yet and I am supposed to run around like a puppy with my tongue hanging out and drool a little.
I don't doubt that there are some genuine ladies somewhere here in cyberspace. But for the most part I have met a lot of little girls. Maturity has nothing to do with age and being a lady does not come automatically with being a woman. Same goes for guys too.
I don't know about you Dragon Rider but I am not so impatient as to make a crazy mistake or move with out first considering the consequences or the rewards as the case may be. | |

Yeah, I know, things are way more expensive there... but... tis only money... As for taxing.. well... hmmm. It seems that I pay way too much anyway I go...
But you will note that Canada was only one of many on that list... I could add SC too... and forgot arizona...

And yes, we have fish in Alaska - a quick search turned up a whopping 88 lady fish between the ages of 18 and 90...lol.

My intent was to see if others had noted the phenomina (aside from my reverse good luck charm) that I had... that close ones seem to not want to bother, but you can get those far a way really interested... I could list statistics but that would seem like advertising...
And for the record... there was one, that was getting very close... and we had even discussed that ... then the good luck charm kicked in...

We see the thousands of profiles of "fish" here looking for someone, but WHERE ARE THEY? I go about my life and see people every day, and sometimes I wonder "are they one of the people from POF?" What does everyone here do with themselves? And, why can't we find each other in real life, in real time?
The second part was - why are the ones that appear "most interesting" somewhere else? I think I would relocate for someone, but it would have to be a genuine exchange of hearts. I figured the line of ladies was already long for you; Dragonrider, which according to your posts, it is :) | |
