| Why are some guys so stupid??
Posted: 5/24/2004 6:06:57 PM | | I have been wondering why some people feel the need to send the same messages to everyone. My roommate and I get messages from guys and they are exactly the same. It is obvious from the pics in our profiles that we know eachother so why would we respond to anyone that is putting absolutely no thought into what they are sending. The second thing is sending the same message every single day with a different subject line is not going to get someone interested in you. If they did not answer the first time I don't think the 30th time is going to be any different....Unless of course you want people to send you mail to yell at you for bothering them. | |

Posted: 5/24/2004 7:35:48 PM | I don't think it is just the guys doing that. I have gotten tons of that kind of thing from foreign women. Same message repeated over and over but with different usernames and topic headers.
And there are a very small percentage of morons who get pissed off and make sure that they piss everybody else off too! Don't let them- just ignore their crap and delete it. | |

Posted: 5/24/2004 7:43:01 PM | I'm not sure why guys do this! I have had the same thing happen to me as well, and they will email once every three weeks, and word for word it is exactly the same. So now I just have to think that they are sending the same message to everyone! I never replied to any of the messages, but maybe I should just tell this person to leave me alone! Because like you said if you don't reply to the message, why keep bothering you, me, and everyone!
Maybe they don't know what to say, so they come up with what they think is a very good email, and they try it on everyone, including sending the same email to the same girl over, and over, but what they don't realize is that ppl talk on here to each other, not to mention that we remember what guys say to us, and we can very quickly figure these guys out. So if this is the most intelligence that they have to offer, sending the same email, then what would life be like with them? Because we all know that different ppl have different likes, and dislikes, so why would every girl respond to the same email?
Don't underestimate us! We are not as dumb as you are, by sending the same email! | |

ESPECIALLY WITH ONE GUY, WHO LIVED CLOSE TO ME, WE TALKED FOR A WHILE AND MET AND HUNG OUT ONE DAY, COME TO FIND OUT 2 WEEKS LATER THAT HE SENT THE SAME EXACT MESSAGE TO A LOT OF MY FRIENDS. I WAS REALLY MAD. BUT I MOSTLY GET CONSTANT EMAILS FROM FOREIGN MEN ASKIN ME TO MARRY THEM AND THEM TELLIN ME THEY ARE IN LUV WITH ME. I MEAN WTF ARE THEY THINKIN. KINDA STUPID IF YOU ASK ME. I JUST DELETE THE EMAILS NOW AND FORGET ABOUT THEM. | |

Not only is it annoying that they send the same thing over and over again, they apparently have no reading comprehension. I.e. if the message says "Read/Deleted" then you probably don't need to send it again...
But then I think reading comprehension is one of the bigger problems in America to begin with. Sure, they want to test kids to make sure they're able to read, good for you. How about making sure they can actually understand what they're reading? That's a whole other ballpark. ;^)

You don't know who will reply and who wont and if your just trying to find someone to talk to it gets realy boring writing a new message for every girl your trying to get a hold of. In the time it takes me to write a message and send it I could have sent like 15 other messages and if one of those 15 I get a reply than its alot smarter to me than writing a new message to one girl and not geting any kind of reply. I usualy though would always write about the same thing no mater what. Like I found your profile intersting and to check out mine and if your intersted em me back. Whats the point of puting in alot of effort if the person most likly isn't going to EM ya back. You may be missen out on alot of nice guys cause your to snoty to reply and see what they realy have to say. | |
