Pretty, but one is an A and the other is a C. I know most men on POF post that they don't care for implants, but what about a case like this? Augmentation on one side, lift on the other.

Please don't delete this message again. I haven't seen it anywhere else on POF and it's not self pity!! I already have my opinion on it (I plan to do it), but I'd like to see what the lovely men on POF have to say ... When do they support surgery or is natural always better no matter natural may be?

You haven't had any replies, so even though I'm a woman I thought I'd reply. I think it's your opinion that counts here. If it makes you feel uncomfortable about your body, find out about augmentation. I hope you get more replies, from men this time

Weren't they invented for women who had mastectomies? I would catagorize this as corrective not insecurity.

thanks, Astridlee. I hope I get many replies from men. I tried to write it as best as I could but I know the good men of POF will feel that if they answer, "I would support the alteration", they would be saying that my current state is unattractive. So maybe I should say this, I really want the truth guys. I plan on having it done anyway. I'm a strong girl. Let's hear it! Here's a if it will help.

Assume that they are perfect - just different sizes. The A is a full A so it's not flat. You can't tell if I am wearing clothes. OK perfect sounds really arrogant. They are full, pretty, small aureole, fiesty brown/pink nipples.

Well, it depends... if it's not noticable when you're wearing clothes, then it's probably not a huge deal (after all, as much fun as clothesless times are, they're not the majority unless it's a questionable relationship). Without knowing or seeing (not asking, just saying), it's hard to say, but my gut instinct is to say that it might be a little weird and off-putting at first, but by no means a dealbreaker. Ultimately it's your body so you should whatever's going to make you happy. If it makes you all self-conscious, augmentation might not be a bad idea. If you're totally happy and confident with them, don't go changing for the sake of some guy.

If you can't tell when you're clothed, it probably wouldn't make a difference. I'd like to say it wouldn't bother me personally, but I don't know for sure. However, I know there are things about my ex's appearance that didn't really appeal to me when we first met. I didn't notice those features again until 5 years later when we broke up.

I like natural, all women have a little difference in size. To me if it's not life threatening your better off natural. Do a lot of research before getting them done, there are a lot more complications than Dr let on. You could end up disfigured!

FEISTY nipples, eh? Rowr.

As said, if you can't tell with clothes on...

I dated an A/B girl, but I couldn't tell the difference until she pointed it out, and even then, it was hard to tell and I didn't care.

A/C might be a wide gap, but everyone is going to look different.

Hmmm....i'd have to honestly say go with what your most comftorbal with. I see on your profile that your an older age then I would of first thought, I had a friend with a problem like yours then when she went on the pill for of course safe sex well safer anyways lol, anyway she evened out pretty much from the pills however the pill effects everyone diffrently. I mean how did this come to be for you? Was it from an example as the pill or were you just born (or I should say grow) to be that way? Its hard to say but if you belive your breasts have stopped growing and feel like you want to even out your breasts I say go for it i'd have no problem with it, however in my own opinion i'd prefer the C being reduced to your A sized breast if I were a woman i'd think i'd prefer a reduction on the one breast instead of getting one implant that might end up looking diffrent from your natural breast...um you get what i'm saying lol? Well thats just my 2 cents, I mean honestly if I fell in love with you i'd think it would be you for you and having one breast a diffrent size wouldn't bother me to much but every man and woman is diffrent on their own opinions soooo yea. Ok i'm done wandering around in my brain before I trip and break something in there lol!

I'm generally not in favor of plastic surgery for the sake of vanity. However, it seems many people get an increased sense of self-confidence from fixing what they perceive as faults in themselves. In other words, do it for yourself, and not for another.

Although most guys I'm sure would prefer symmetric breasts, it wouldn't be a deal breaker.

good point on the reduction, blargal. I've thought about that too. Don't want to have too much boobage, I'm only 115#! My breasts are natural and I'm not on the pill (but you've gotten me thinking maybe I should check it out for the side perks)

I personally would have more concern for fixxing it than leaving it alone.anytime you open up the body you insert extra risks you have to be careful of.Possible infection, reactions to medications you may of never had before, the increased risk of damage to the implant via car accident or accidently getting hit in that area.I would understand someones need to fix that, but at the same time I would share my concerns as well. All I can tell you is look into this deeply, research for yourself and consult more than one doctor.

Ok, now I'm really thinking about this.

Maybe a reduction of the C to an A should be considered (thanks for the idea, Blargal).

(1) Option A: Reduce one breast to a size A. No implant. Scarring on reduced breast, nothing on the other breast.

(2) Option B: Implant size A breast to size C. Breast lift on size C breast to match implanted breast. Scarring on both breasts. Implant in on breast.

Wow, this forum is really helping me think through this.

Guys, understanding that this isn't an ideal situation either way... which is sexier? Option A or B? Or other?

Many thanks, POF guys rock!

If it doesn't bother you, then it shouldn't bother the person you are with.

Personally I think if it is something that would make you feel more comfortable with then by all means go ahead and get the surgery done. If you are doing it because you have had bad reactions from men in the past, then I think those guys were just not the types of guys you were meant to be with.

I think it is kind of cool that you were proportioned that way. As a guy, I could find quite a bit of variety of things to do in such a circumstance :) (not meant to sound crude in any way, I just love breasts of all sizes/shapes)

Tough call...

Implants are often more esthetically pleasing when you're clothed. Unclothed or to the touch, not so much. Do what makes you happy, but something I don't think has been mentioned here yet is the potential diminution or outright loss of nipple sensitivity as a result of some kinds of breast surgery. For some women, this would be no biggie, for others a tragedy. Ask your surgeon about this & every other question you can think of.

everyones breats are uneven to some degree. If it REALLY bothers you that much maybe you should do it I guess. In my opinion they are fine like they are. If a guy has a problem with them then you should be looking for another guy. My $.02

Do whatever it takes to get them the same size. Two A's or two C's is better than an A and a C IMHO. It's all about symmetry.

I'm not for enlarging for the sake of it though. This is totally different.

I would say go with what makes you happy. If you have trouble being intimate because of this, and it affects your career, then by all means do something about it. If you do decide to get implants, please get something tasteful. It isn't the implants that we hate as much as the cartoonish melons that so many women seem to favor and the attitude that seems to go with them. Big fake boobs are like the female version of the mullet, for straight women. I have seen an augmentation that was absolutely perfect. The scarring shouldn't be an issue if you go to a decent plastic surgeon. There are lots of options for how they are implanted, and there are some really good (and fairly expensive) treatments that can remove all but the worst scars.

Be happy with yourself either way, in the end it isn't your breasts that people will remember you for, unless you are a stripper.

Don't even think about getting a change unless it's solely for yourself. What guy would honestly care? he gets the best of both worlds and automatically wins every "large breasts versus small breasts" debate.

If you are very uncomfortable with it, as I am sure buying a bra is a pain, and you want to "fix" it, then go for it.

Personally, I would consider doing lipo on the C cup and bring it down to a B or A. The difference between the B & A won't be that big as most women have one that is larger than the other. That way, your breasts are even but still your own.

I dunno how having one implant would feel. It might be lopsided or feel. Maybe put implants in both? I have no idea.

Honestly though, I think you probably notice it more than anyone else.
