| Going from a Have Not to a Have Posted: 10/25/2007 3:20:55 PM | Besides winning the lottery, suing McDonald's, becoming a professional athlete, marrying into money or stealing it, what's the easiest way to go from a Have Not to a Have? How does a regular person strike it rich? I' m planning for my retirement. | |

Those who know how, work for those who know why. Not vice versa.

| Going from a Have Not to a Have Posted: 10/25/2007 5:25:16 PM | I'll add this to the suggestions thus far. Frugal frugal frugal, you'd be surprised what pennies, nickels and dimes can add up to in the long run. Pay yourself first! This cannot be emphasized enough. You're still young enough to reap rewards later on if you live by a few rules. Know the difference between your wants and needs. Set-up a separate account for your 'wants' but always pay yourself first.
Example: Take 80% or more of your disposable income and place it into a tax sheltered account. Reach the max amount that the law allows with the remainder going into your 'want' account. When your 'want' account reaches the funds for what you 'want', buy it and start all over again.
If this fails, instead of robbing McD's, maybe try robbing Hardies or Taco Bell?

Most "successes" these days are 'miracles of advertising' which just takes advantage of the odds of the percentage of suckers in the population. Reach more people, more suckers will buy your product. PT Barnum said there is a sucker born every minute. Who'd know better than a man who made a living running a circus for a living?
So... Is your life a circus enough to make a buck?

How does a regular person strike it rich?
It is simple. You go on a dating site forum and ask them. Everybody knows they are the most wealthy and successful people on the planet so naturally they would know.
