And the following names of the most likely guys to be in there with them:
1. Lee 2. Dave 3. Andy 4. Steve 5. Kevin 6. Gary 7. Paul 8. Darren 9. Jason 10. Ben.
Is there any truth in this and should we be looking to find or avoid any of the above? | |

My friend is called Lee and he is what you call a player, and I have had one night stands with 3 women on that list. Number 1, number 6 and number 8.
Most of the names on those lists are fairly common boys and girls names though so........? | |

So hmmm.......nope think it's silly to just go on the name. It's the person, and how two people are, what should be compared.

Posted: 10/26/2007 7:54:55 AM | How many of us scanned the names just to see if we were on there or are now rushing to change their name by deed poll. Times like these when I love my mum for naming me with something unusual.
I have friends with all 20 of those names, so can't comment too much (joke) but surely its just down to the fact that they're fairly common, or is it just me being thankful again.

Addressing the OP the sample is meaningless unless it is proportional to the actual numbers of each name. There might be a total nympho called Clarissa throwing herself around but since her name is not a commonly given name she doesn't get a look it. Likewise the Jolyons, Hugos and Reginalds of this world.
Mind you the number of guys calleds Julian, Lionel and Barry who are gay and lesbians called Ros(z) and Fran seems higher than one finds in the general population. | |

Well I'm not on the list but I've met 4 of the top 10 men and actually - yes they did, chatted with another 3 , as well as duplicates of the first 4, and I've no doubt they would too.
The only three I've not encounted are Kevin, Darren and Ben, but there is still plenty of time. | |
