good one 7times

Sure it's fun at the beginning, but it always seems to get complicated after awhile.

No, I'm not into that. For me, sex is the ultimate act of intimacy, and I could only sleep with a man once everythign else was in place - trust, feelings, respect, communication etc...

NO, i think this is the stupidest thing that came about.

this is the whole reason why the divorce rate is up, marriage rate is down, and now even relationships have no meaning.

I mean isnt the whole point of life to pro-create. now if we all have f buddies and such, where would this world be going>?

This must be Friends with Benefits week of something...quite a few threads about this

People dont just have sex to pro-create so not sure what that has to do with it.
Some people can have meaningless sex, some cant.
To each their own.
Me, sure friends with benfits makes life simple

No. Don't have it, not interested.

If I was that hard up there are toys that could get a girl off faster, and without all the drama.

Yes!!!! Is there a better situation? No commitment, no money exchanged and both parties get what they want. A beautiful arrangement in my opinion.

Yep. Why not? Figure it may as well be with someone I know to a degree than off with some random hookup. Safer this way too.

Great point. I agree 100%. So why risk everything you have worked for to fall in love and get married when a “friend with benefits” will do just fine - without those nasty legal entanglements? Even better, why not achieve Zen by abstaining?

If abstinence is Zen, get down at my feet and grovel at my magnificence....

Sorry Doll....but tried that route. More likely to achieve Nirvana by NOT abstaining.

The other route takes too long, and I'm an impatient broad, lol.

Been there, done that, bought the tee-shirt and moved on. Using someone and knowing I'm not going to be there for them in the future destroys my self-esteem. Sure glad I understand that now!

i tried it an got bored quick, whats the point of sleeping with someone u dont even care for? after a few times it gets old.

Better to save your body for someone whos gonna care more about it then just hopin on an getting sum.

whats the point of getting married or having a bf or gf if u can just go screw everyone who agrees with u to do it?

I spent one summer with a girl just fcking and drinking and it was a blast! We were best friends and many good memories.
At the end of summer I got bored of her and I had to lay off the booze so I unloaded her on a buddy of mine.
We talked a few times after that and then I think she moved or something like that.

before I came to these forums I heard of people being
friends with benefits but I thought it was something really young people did.
I was wrong.

So now I make up my own phases to poke fun at the seeminly ridicluous phrases
people make up
friends w/ benefits= hot tail, no morals, desperation, attention seeking, unknowing of the real dangers of AIDS, HIV... good repeat customers for the VD clinice, surgeons and doctors. I'm sure they appriciate those people.
friends with benefits= too dumb to not know wen they are playing with fire, lost souls finding each other and having to call it something might as well be called "special" because thats another term for slow to catch on.

@Babylonia,
To each their own. Personally, removing sex from my life as something of overwhelming importance has been freeing. I no longer waste my time wondering about or trying to find that next piece of tail. I no longer bow to the will of women, who seemed to have power over me in the form of sex. Once that was removed, I found no reason to any longer bend my will (already having a child has certainly helped in my quest). My life is now more constructive, productive and happier. You could say I have reached my own personal Nirvana - the state of being a truly free man. But I am fully aware that is not Nirvana for everyone.
