| Hallowe'en .... Things that go bump & other scary stuff Posted: 11/1/2007 4:46:32 AM | Hmmmm. well, I dont actually accept that there are such things, but things happen in my house from time to time, particularly bumps in the night, and they have been heard by other people too. I had put it down to building noises, and then one day my ex brother in law was staying for a while several years ago, and one day when I got in from work he was sitting at the table looking very pale and shaken, and of course I said the classic 'you look like you've seen a ghost' funny you should say that he said....your fckuing house is haunted. He left very shortly after, thankfully!! The Spook did'nt, it still stalks the house at night and has woken myself and my son Andy on a couple of occasions, it used to bother us but now it just seems like part of the house... well actually It always did to me | |

| Hallowe'en .... Things that go bump & other scary stuff Posted: 11/1/2007 4:54:38 AM | My mum used to have poltergeists when she was a teenager. They stayed for couple of years and she saw lots of things thrown about, cups and plates would hovver and then whizz off to one side and be smashed against the wall.
She said the oddest thing which scared her most was she had a little dog who slept on her bed - he would happily trot up and downstairs through the day but when it was bedtime he would stop and freeze and shake when he got to the 8th step, it was always the 8th - he was fine til he got to that point but no amount of encouragement would move him. He had to be picked up from the 7th step and put on the 9th step every single night - then he was fine and all was forgotten. | |

| Hallowe'en .... Things that go bump & other scary stuff Posted: 11/1/2007 9:03:28 AM | Personally I think its all a load of old rubbish however...
Was in my mates house one night - all the girlies - and I was saying what rubbish it was and these programmes, most haunted, were all camera tricks etc. Suddenly the bulb in the lamp beside me blew and we were left in darkness. My mates sister nearly wet herself with the fright - I thought it was hilarious but her theory was I was being warned etc etc!!!
Still think its a load of old rubbish lol

| Hallowe'en .... Things that go bump & other scary stuff Posted: 11/25/2007 9:11:40 AM | Several years ago, at a difficult time in my life just after my marriage broke up, some strange things happened. For several nights as I was dropping off to sleep, (I always sleep on my side), I felt a hand rest on my shoulder for a few seconds. Also on other nights, when dropping off to sleep, I felt a gentle kiss on my cheek. Of course no one was there, but it didn't feel frightening, only comforting. I don't notice it anymore, and it stopped as my life got better and I wasn't so distressed. I wouldn't call it "scary stuff" as such, but more like reassurance. Pam xx | |
