In the meantime I am doing my best to enjoy being single... however in a relationship if it is to a HEALTHY relationship one should not even begin to tell the other what, where, when or how!! Been there done that... won't go back.
anyway just my thought... single life is ok... but not what I want to do the rest of my life---HOWEVER I will NOT settle.

Being single is okay ....but sure would like to find THE ONE..who I can't live without!
Been single for sometime now....but it is better than being in a dysfunctional, unhealthy relationship....which I will NOT do.....just not going there again!
If I am NOT on the same page with someone...I move on!
No worries!
I am ALL woman .....I don't NEED a man to validate my personhood!
It is all about CONNECTION and this site is about making that connection!!!!!

If you're not comfortable being alone and single then what exactly do you plan on bringing to a relationship?
Don't depend on other to make you happy. You're in charge of your own happiness whether you're single or in a relationship. No one is going to find happiness for you. So I ask:

BB's Blues, Jazz and Soups on broadway is a club I love to go to, but nobody else seems to like it. But that's ok! I'm single! I can drive myself there! Pay my own cover! Buy my own drinks and enjoy it! It's a lot more fun than watchin Gilligan's Island reruns by myself! | |

ok I have to agree.. these things are nice... however I pretty much had that when I was with the soon to be X... in the beginning we did have a good relationship.. but then I guess we all do.
I like the quiet times... and the biggest thing I like about being single... My Grand daughters spend the night with Maw Maw whenever they want to....and all three of us can have a pj party. I love my girls.
Ok Shelli... you have a good point here... I guess I need to get off of this freaking pity pot and say hey.. being single really does have it's good points.
The bottom line.... THE FREEDOM TO BE ME!!!!!!!!! and I do like ME!!! ;O)~ | |

OK...like Denise...I have no ring on my finger, so am technically still single, though taken!
But...single is good because there is always more time to hang with the Sistas!! I know, I know...we all say we will do such even if we are married, pregnant, and barefoot...but we tend to do it more when we are not! :O)
Singledom is super as a DIET, too! LMAO  I tend to be more conscious of what I am eating when I am on the hunt for a man! LMAO *Did I just say that out loud?!*
Being single is cool because there is more shopping to do to keep in singledom fashion...new shirts, pretty underthings, push up bras, nails and hair maintained...we pamper ourselves more when we are single! | |
