| what does it mean Posted: 11/3/2007 6:08:57 PM | what does it mean if you are trying to "court" a woman, and she tells you about her "male friends". Example: he takes her to dinner, movies etc, then they go back to his house and they "sleep " together, just watch tv , no sex. Why would a woman say that? Is this some sort of test? or how about when they tell you about their date the night before ? just curious | |

| what does it mean Posted: 11/3/2007 6:25:37 PM | Well BD, I"m with you. I do not understand this, just went out with a guy on Wed. and he did the same thing but he went one step further and told me his best friend is his ex-wife. Then why isn't he still with her? he also said that if his ex didn't like a woman he was seeing she would let it be known and has had past relationships end because of it. He called me today and wants to go out again, don't think that's gonna happen. | |

| what does it mean Posted: 11/3/2007 6:53:21 PM | | Some women have more male friends than female friends. Would you rather she had no friends? | |

| what does it mean Posted: 11/3/2007 7:11:50 PM | BWA-HA-HA-HAAAA!!

BWA-HA-HA-HAAAA!! | |
|
| what does it mean Posted: 11/3/2007 7:42:00 PM | I can't think of a polite thing to say about a "lady" who would do that. " I have my cake and I am eating it too????"
You deserve better OP .... heck I'd take you out for dinner! ~shakes head in disbelief at some people's logic~

| what does it mean Posted: 11/3/2007 8:02:16 PM | Big Dave- Lots of people have opposite sex friends. That didn't sound right, but hopefully you know what I mean. I have some really really close male friends. Of course, most of them are gay, but there a couple that are straight. My SO will have to understand and be all right with that from the beginning, because no matter what happens in a romantic relaionship, my friends are here to stay.
However, the "sleeping together" thing is a bit odd, don't you think? If it's a test, I believe she just flunked it. Next...
|
| what does it mean Posted: 11/4/2007 12:11:04 PM | Hmmm very odd... I don't have an "FRIENDS" like that... I don't tell men that I'm interested in about dates..... maybe she's just in a friend zone with you. | |
|
| what does it mean Posted: 11/4/2007 2:39:28 PM | OP, do you "sleep" with any of your female friends? I don't sleep with any of my guy friends.
As to your date and her friend. Was one of them so drunk that they couldn't drive home? Did they go "dutch" on the date? It doesn't matter I suppose. Just the fact that she talked about it during your date shows her lack of consideration for your feelings.

| what does it mean Posted: 11/4/2007 3:32:00 PM | I sleep with some of my male friends all the time. Of course, a lot of them are gay... the men I go out with know I have my gay boyfriends, so it's on the up and up.
Yeah, she is not a keeper.
|
| what does it mean Posted: 11/4/2007 11:26:02 PM | | She slept with her guy friend and then lied about it to you because she's an airhead with a big mouth. | |

I sleep with some of my male friends all the time.
I don't know. Somehow this statement is either an oxymoron or a dichotomy. It just doesn't read right.
I have slept in the same bed as my gay guy friend many times.
|
| what does it mean Posted: 11/5/2007 11:24:45 AM | I sleep with gay guys all of the time! I have learned, through experience, that, in an effort to be honest, talking about ones other dates (except the ones with cream cheese on them) to a person you are dating is a recipe for disaster. Though she might not realize it, she is breeding mistrust between you. I must concur with the wisest ladies I know, who are above me in more than just this thread, if the practice continues, next. | |

| what does it mean Posted: 11/5/2007 11:39:28 AM | I sleep with gay guys all of the time!
You tell your girlfriends this and it just might be your deal breaker; Cream cheese and all.
|
| what does it mean Posted: 11/5/2007 6:43:48 PM |
they "sleep " together, just watch tv , no sex.
I'm lost, how do you sleep with a date and not have sex ? Either she has just given birth to a child, has an active case of STD's and tells you about it, declares she is a lesiban, becomes physically ill or has a bad assed Bull Terrier that positioned himself between you and her on the bed ! Outside of that, why no sex ? .....Hell, just go home to your own bed and whack off ! ~

| what does it mean Posted: 2/16/2008 3:18:20 PM | | I would never tell anybody they cant have friends. Why cant we all go out together? If they have to go alone, i think there is a reason. And sleeping together with no sex? lol thats a good one | |

| what does it mean Posted: 2/16/2008 6:48:01 PM | Hmmm maybe she's trying to make your her friend as well....
I'd never tell someone I was interested in about my date the night before unless he was asking if I had a date....
|

| what does it mean Posted: 2/17/2008 10:17:26 AM | BigDave, sleeping together without sex does happen. Have you ever been married? Ok...I'm just joshin'. No offense to the married folks on here who do have great sex lives! I hope I have that one of these days!
Back to topic...sounds like she's not interested in a real realtionship. Just wants FWB types.
|
| |
| what does it mean Posted: 2/17/2008 3:20:05 PM | | Exactly... she's trying to run you off, in a kind way.... | |
|
| what does it mean Posted: 2/17/2008 8:40:59 PM | | A lot of women do have more guy friends than girl friends, by mentioning them they're jsut putting the cards on the table, they're letting you know now that they have some guy friends and they want to see your reaction to it. However, i have gone out on a date before with this guy and felt so bad because i kept bringing up a guy friend that i was really into, but I couldn't help it, i was really into that guy friend so the conversation with the guy I was with at the time didn't matter, i just didn't dig him as much. Hey, you wanted honesty on the matter, i'm not going to sugar coat it. Sorry! i guess it's however you see it, you should have been able to notice if the girl digged you or not, just think about it. | |
