Posted: 11/3/2007 6:08:57 PM | what does it mean if you are trying to "court" a woman, and she tells you about her "male friends". Example: he takes her to dinner, movies etc, then they go back to his house and they "sleep " together, just watch tv , no sex. Why would a woman say that? Is this some sort of test?
or how about when they tell you about their date the night before ?

I do not understand this, just went out with a guy on Wed. and he did the same thing but he went one step further and told me his best friend is his ex-wife. Then why isn't he still with her? he also said that if his ex didn't like a woman he was seeing she would let it be known and has had past relationships end because of it.
He called me today and wants to go out again, don't think that's gonna happen. | |

Lots of people have opposite sex friends. That didn't sound right, but hopefully you know what I mean. I have some really really close male friends. Of course, most of them are gay, but there a couple that are straight. My SO will have to understand and be all right with that from the beginning, because no matter what happens in a romantic relaionship, my friends are here to stay.
However, the "sleeping together" thing is a bit odd, don't you think?

As to your date and her friend. Was one of them so drunk that they couldn't drive home? Did they go "dutch" on the date? It doesn't matter I suppose. Just the fact that she talked about it during your date shows her lack of consideration for your feelings.

I have learned, through experience, that, in an effort to be honest, talking about ones other dates (except the ones with cream cheese on them) to a person you are dating is a recipe for disaster. Though she might not realize it, she is breeding mistrust between you.

I'm lost, how do you sleep with a date and not have sex ? Either she has just given birth to a child, has an active case of STD's and tells you about it, declares she is a lesiban, becomes physically ill or has a bad assed Bull Terrier that positioned himself between you and her on the bed !
