Hey I have made this for Christmas gifts this year. Saw it in a newspaper and wow! What a flavour!

2 cups of blueberries (fresh or thawed from frozen)
1/3 cup of sugar
2 cups balsamic
3 garlic cloves chopped fine
1 stick of cinnamon

Smush/squish (do not food process) the blueberries against the side of a large sauce pan or dutch oven. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir. Bring to boil and gently boil for 10 minutes. Cool and put in fridge covered for two days. Buy a cheap dollar store strainer and strain liquid from pulp into glass jar. Keeps forever in the fridge and absolutely magnificent on salads or fish or chicken.
I also have put it into sealed jars with a cruet for Xmas gifts this year

SAVE the pulp into a jar and use it as a chutney for beef or on top of chicken to bake. wow!
